I arrived late at night after two flights so I was ready to crash. Unfortunately, when I arrived the staff told me that they'd given away the private room I'd booked. They suggested that I stay in a dorm style room instead and due to my tiredness I said OK. He led me to the dorm style room, but it was locked at he didn't have the key. He said I could wait for someone staying in the room to come home…overall he didn't seem to care about my situation at all. I walked out.

The biggest complaint I have was that they painted my room right before we checked in. When we came back that evening to sleep and realized that the room was toxic, there was no one to be found. The smell was so bad that I had an asthma attack, and I do not have asthma. The next morning when I talked to the staff, they were very friendly and pleasant and were able to switch our room. I am curious how much nerve damage I suffered. The second night was great, we enjoyed the bar downstairs.
Really friendly staff, helpful and welcoming, everyone seemed to know my name. Others say it's a bit noisy, admittedly you're right on the street and there's a bar downstairs, but the rooms are more to the back so I had no trouble sleeping. Not in the main backpacker ghetto downtown but that's a bonus, the bar here is lively and there's plenty more nearby; Palace and Toul Sleng are only 15 mins walk away, Central Market 20. I'd recommend unless you're desperate to hang only with backpackers.
We booked the hostel for just one night, so that we could decide whether we stay there longer or not. I had no problem with it, but the girls didn't like it so we had to move. I think it has a good atmosphere, but if you are not used to backpackers' hostels, this is probably not for you. The location is great, near to a lot of bars and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even sent us an email to check upon us because our bus from Siem Reap arrived quite late.
The hostel was set up in a rather strange way, but was an excellent value for money and located quite well in Phnom Penh (only a $2-3 tuk tuk ride to the riverfront).
All Staff I dealt with were excellent especially Kim.i was in room 1 and informed her I found it noisy from the music in the bar downstairs. I was moved to another room which was much better. Location is good as you can easily visit all tourist sights. Travel is cheap with tuk tuk. It is better to hire a tuk tuk all day for $20 if you want to visit a lot of place. There was a good choice on the Breakfast menu and it was cheap(Scrambled egg and toast- $1.75
it's cheap, so you can't expect too much. It has simple rooms. I heard the dorm was full of smoke (with a lot of grass) but I stayed in the one single room so that didn't bother me.
This place is super loud. Do not book a room here if you like your sleep. Party lovers, come on in!
Amazing staff, super friendly and really helpful. Got my vietnam visa sorted through them easily...the bar and restaurant is good. Room was clean. The tuk tuk drivers are also quite friendly...location is good, quick ride to the riverside and S21. We were checked into a room different than what we had booked on website but it was no problem and they offered us our original room the next day. Overall great value for the money. Would recommenced!
Hostel is Ok. The staff is friendly, and they serve good food and drinks in the bar. Dorms are very basic, but good enough. Location is close to other bars. But found it not very sociable, probably because it's low-season.
