The location is good. Its in the heart of HK. However, the room is very small. It was not the room that I expected. I was also transferred to Gloria Hostel without any valid reasons. The guy who is on the reception told me that his brother owns Gloria Hostel and that I should be sleeping there. The bedsheet has stains and the aircon is not working at all.

A lot better than expected. We had a 4 person family room which equated to 2 good size double beds. This suited us as 2 couples, although non-couples would probably need single beds and I would suggest mentioning that in advance. Chungking Mansions got character. Inside the room it doesn't matter: the decor was all new, the beds firm and comfy, the linen changed regularly, and the Indian owner very helpful. Two locked doors provide ample security, and the shower was good

At the hostel we were welcomed by "passport now" "cash now"... No hello, but an extremely rude guy at the front desk. no form of communication from staff. room was clean, but the photos make it look a lot bigger than it was. my boyfriend could touch every side while lying down on the bed. no good if your claustrphobic..no where to store valuables either. there were no brochures or any information on HK.

This hostel is located at the Chung King Mansions, which means a lot of things--mainly that it is really sketchy. The room was really clean though!

Excellent location - very central and right on Nathan Road, only 5-10 mins walk away from Lock Road, The Avenue of Stars, etc. The staff were friendly and our belongings were secure. The private double room was tiny!!! But it was fine if you are only staying in it for a short time. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Don't be put off by the entrance to the building. A bit intimidating with people trying to sell you things, but once you get to the 10th floor the atmosphere is better.
