The Caulaincourt offers you dormitories ,single, twin, double and triple rooms some with private showers all with:

- FREE French style breakfast (croissant, orange juice, cereals, teas and coffee).
- FREE Hot shower day and night.
- FREE Maps
- Towels are not provided in the dorms but can be rented at the reception of the hostel.
- Pillows, blankets and fitted sheets for the mattress are provided.

The location is perfect (although prepare for the stairs) , however the atmosphere is a little off. It’s not the most social hostel which is fine however the staff can be a little stand offish. I asked a receptionist if he knew where I could find paracetamol in the night and was completely dismissed. The walls are also very very thin so if you’re a light sleeper you will hear it all. The breakfast is great and I guess value for money is good

The hostel was cute and in a relatively good area, fairly easy to get around Paris by transit from it. I stayed in a 3 bed dorm which was nice and quiet. Would be nice if the rooms had lockers or some sort of storage to keep luggage more secure. The bathrooms were very small and quite dirty and no soap or hand towels were provided.
