City Backpackers Singapore Reviews

City Backpackers Singapore is a good place to stay with its location being near if not at the center of Sinagpore's business district. Having a breakfast together with their very modest rate of accomodation is a plus, I just hope they could provide a variety of spreads aside from peanut butter and strawberry jam. As a whole, I enjoyed my stay and will most likely stay there again should I go back to Singapore.

Was an overall good experience. The place was clean and the staff was amicable. If i return to Singapore i will consider staying at this hostel again.

Too bad, the staff still have the mentality of 'look up whites' When they deal wth the Asian, I don't see any smile nor being helpful. Bad choice.

This hostel is the best location to visit singapure close to nigth live and all the turistic atractions,frendly staff, the kitchen facilitys are very basic also the breakfast.

Well basically we had a great time in Singapore and one of the most important factors of our great experience was our hostel which gave us the great assistance, comfort and energy to boost up our everyday journey of fun and enjoyment. Big thanks to the staff of City Backpacker’s especially Adam and the Indian guy who treat us so well. And thank you also for the great breakfast toast and coffee which really boosted our everyday adventure.

Located close to both Boat and Clarke Quay so very central but also very noisy! But with air conditioning which is a plus!

Our first booking for this hostel was cancelled on arrival because of overbooking and we were transferred to another hostel across the street (city center backpackers). Not very nice, especially because the other hostel wasnt too good for this price. Our second stay was ok. Staff is really nice, the double room is very good aswell. But showers and toilets could be cleaner. Breakfast was ok, but there was no good place to have it. We couldnt eat on the terrace because it was raining.

from hostel 5 mins to mrt, clark quay, 10mins to boat quay and very near to china town good location of this hostel.. not good of this hotel is poor of cleanliness and facilities, but the staff are ok and not expensive hostel good to stay.. the bed is comfy and comfort to sleep ..

Clean facilities, big rooms and good located just a 5 minutes walking distance to next metro station (and near Chinatown with good street food).

Location was really great. The staff were very helpful esp the black guy. The room was spacious enough for 2 persons, bathroom were clean. It is a great value for money and I would recommend it to my friends! :)

good experience overall. Had beef about the bathrooms--not too clean. There was hair and bad smell. The absence of an elevator was also a problem for ppl like us who stayed on the fourth floor. But the room was nice and air-conditioned. Staff was friendly. Internet was fast.

The location is quite good ,close to mrt. And easy to go the attraction.The staff,Mr.Romey,Mr.Black are very friendly and helpful..thank you so much..I suggest that if u wanna stay here choosing 2beds/Room is comfortable..pay a little bit money but u will get more..and pls bring ur favorite instant coffee,there were hot water,microwave,gd bread+jam+magarine.,Lipton tea..Anyway,nextime,I will stay here again for sure..thks.

the water which coming from the air conditioner at level 2 room 5, makes the floor always wet...

the water in the shower is running too slow

The location is very strategic, near Clarke Quay MRT and near Mall..

waste basket in a toilet should check more often because on the afternoon (half day) is already full with the tissue so the garbage is overflow everywhere & i think the room is quite small in all type of rooms so it's very narrow when we bring a large suitcase. but overall this is a good hostel anyway...
