We are very satisfied staying in city backpackers inn with clean room, hospitable staff and nice and cheaper rate of their room. We recognized the staff and the owner of the hostel because they are our kababayan.

This is a basic hostel located in the city center, close to nightclubs, restaurant and bars. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is not very friendly, but for me, the location makes up for that.

very nice to stay at this hotel. the hotel is very close to a hearing where tourism. I would definitely stay at this place again for my next visit. Cleanliness is very awake. and which provide facilities to function properly.

We stayed in the 4th floor and there was no elevator. The hostel is good if you want to go to Clark Quay, because it is just 5 minutes walk and also 3 minutes from the subway station.

Good location to walk to Clarke Quay in the evenings, China Town and SMRT stations (where the rest of the city is easily accessible on this efficient network!). Staff were not very welcoming and could not provide me with a map or any information on where to go / what to see in Singapore. Also, the rooms are quite segregated without a main common room so it is hard to meet other travellers in this hostel.

The place is really good, the staff at the morning is not soo nice, but its actually good at night. The location es really good you have the MRT 2 minutes. Maybe you can try one night and decide!

perfect location, rooms are clean, good value for money

Hostel easy to find.Only 8 bunks in my room (about 40 sq. meter).Hostel is serious about order & discipline--every door has a sign: If you are disruptive/noisy/bothersome/etc. you will be asked to leave.Bathrooms clean.Breakfast is okay. Access to transport and attractions is excellent.

There was no window in the room. The staff was extremely unfriendly. I would not recommand to stay here!

very good location, the staff in morning shift is abit cold but night shift guy is very friendly. can add more lighting and sockets for upper deck beds it has been quite inconvenient

This hostel was the only affortable option available to me in the city. Very unfriendly place though in terms of the signs around the dorms and general staff service (smiles anyone!?). Although willing to look let me put down my bag before paying on arrival (!) & allow left luggage for a few hours, it was done at best begrudgingly. The one saving grace, as is often the case, was meeting fellow travellers who made the visit worthwhile. Cleanliness and security average. Won´t be visiting again!!

The man at the reception was HORRIBLE, in my opinion not making the best hostel receptionist candidate. Hostel is in a very good place and is generally pretty clean. We stayed in a 8 person dorm which was very small and crammed. If your on a budget in Singapore it seems a night as a sardine is the only cheap option though and this could have been tolerated if it wasn't for the man at reception.

Small room, no window. Air condition working fine. Toilets ok. Clean enough. Breakfast has nothing but bread and hot water with soluble coffee. When we arrived, the recepcionist was a strange guy, but nice. he was brushing his guinea pigs hair on the sofa!!!! It's sleepable, it was just for one night, so....

Thank you for City Backpacker Hostel. It's clean, close to the river side, close to MRT Station and thanks for a good staff and thanks for breakfast.
