The bed was very shaky and was making a lot of noises. We could not sleep the whole night.

Good impression, but with two exceptions: * I'm getting used to access to a stove somewhere, and I missed that. And for the replacement(?), the cafe around the corner for which we got vouchers, it was closed and wasn't to open until February. * The bathrooms: The music. Please, why??? And in the gent's showers: I swear at least one of the showers was haunted: didn't turn on when I waved at the optical sensor, randomly turned on when I didn't, got cold water when cranked it to hot and vice versa.

I thought the City Hostel was the place to be to discover Stockholm. It's very close to the station, very clean (nice toilets, showers and kitchen!) and they offer the possibilty to store your luggage on the day of your check-out so that you can still go into town if you only leave at night. Of course the quality of your sleep depends on the other guests you share a room with. The lockers in the rooms are fine, but noisy (if your roommate needs to take something from it, you're wide awake).

The possibility to leave the baggage at the hostel (even outside checkin hours) could be saver. Maybe in a room with door and key. The coffee and tea offer is a little bit like a joke. The bed sheets could be cleaner because we had little fuzz on our clothes.Maybe it was the mattress. I liked the atmosphere and the fast and uncomplicated payment. Also the central location and the friendly staff.

Nice, very clean hostel. Comfortable beds. Good showers. Nice staff. Handy to central station. Free comupters/internet. Basement, but there is some natural light in the rooms due to a glass ceiling/courtyard. Lockers are handy. Secure. Warm. I'll defo stay here when I'm back in Stockholm. Thanks.

Really nice hostel, very clean. Probably one of the best I've stayed in, and it was for a pretty good price too. I would definitely stay again!

Nice hostel in a central location. Clean facilities. Only downside is that there's only staff on site from 09:00 to 18:00, but when you indicate in advance that you'll be arriving late, they'll send you a key code so you can open the door. (Dorms use key codes, too.) Only downside is there's no staff around to make sure things stay quiet after 22:00 (although they generally were). Clean shared facilities, nice kitchen with lots of equipment for you to use, and good free WiFi. Would visit again.

With just a 5 minute walk to Central Station, this hostel was perfect for our weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving advice on where to go out, how to get bus tickets and the best sights. Thanks for a great stay :)

The hostel is close to the central station, that was important for me. The check-in was very uncomplicated and with the door codes we were independent of checking-in, coiming back, leaving, etc. That was really good. They also have a nice kitchen and 4 computers with internet access. I enjoyed my stay at the City Hostel.

I found it a claustriphobic expereince being underground and with no windows in the dorms and the airconditioning units sounded like the sea when I woke up through the night - this hostel will be best suited to the younger traveller who does not mind the conditions.

All in all very great, but we left our luggage there and when we came back, we wanted to get our food from the fridge, but this was not possible! Why that?! If you keep this rule, just give a short sign about it, so that people know that they cannot get their food back... And why are there some strange cross-studs in the middle of the bed..? Thanks and best regards ;) Janek
