Overall a def winner. Would stay again without hesitation if the opportunity presents. Felt secure and well maintained. Mattress was surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of electrical outlets accessible. If I had any criticism I’d say the men’s WC and shower area could use a little deep cleaning/refresh. The last thing I’d say is maybe the envelope with the room key should instruct to hold the chip over number pad not the “X” on the space above. Had some trouble getting in the room after hours.

Good beds, very clean, have lockers, have a good kitchen, and a nice common area with TV! The only bad point is the weird chemical smell in the toilet room; it needs a bit more air... Still give it a 10. Worth it.

We had a great stay. Was my daughter’s first time staying in a hostel, she loved it. Location was perfect for us. Facilities and room was great. I’d definitely stay again Only thing is I don’t like getting all sociable messages from people arranging meet ups. However if I was travelling solo, I’m sure I would find this very helpful

The subterranean City Hostel - Central Station was recently renovated and features natural lighting through the cleverly-designed glass roof. Hostelworld guests have said this hostel is clean, cosy, warm, secure and "very tidy and well managed", with doors locked by key code. Our users have also noted their appreciation of the friendly ambience of the hostel, such as the music which is piped throughout, including the bathrooms. In fact, several of our users have said this is the best hostel they've stayed at - a "favourite" that they would "definitely recommend".
