the staff were not very helpfull ! the internet was always breaking down ! and most of the letters were missing on the key board and for a older guy who needs glasses to read i gave up at times ! I have travelled all the world and I dont complain so easily but the attitude of the staff at times was indiffernt and its that that you remember most !the last straw was when I left early morning and she askedf me to pay for the last two days which I had payed already ! it took time !run to airport

The best part of this hostel is the location! Very easy to get to and in a lively area. With that said, the price of the hostel (considering the location) is very reasonable. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. My only (small) complaint is the staff. I was often given false information or told "I don't know" to some common guest-type questions. Also, they didn't have record of me paying when I checked out and asked me to pay extra (save your receipt!).

We have been moved to the Kingston-Inn, right next door, but booked with Comfort Hostel HK. Actually the price given for the Kingston was 40HKD less per night. We tried to fix this issue with the personnel, which was not able to understand english (for issues a bit more complicated than handing over a room key) http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Kingston-Inn/Hong-Kong/62392

A very safe but central hostel in Hong Kong. A perfect place to stay for a few nights for three 18 year old girls on our gap year. We felt very safe with a security guard at the entrance 24/7. Room was very clean, bathroom very very nice. More then what we expected for our money. Very good deal. Incredibly friendly staff especially the man at the desk. Welcoming and great at giving us advice on how to get to places and where to go in our days in Hong Kong.

I booked the 3-bed female dorm, but on my second day the staff put a man in the room. So if you're dead set on having an all-female room, proceed with caution.

There were a small tray, 2 plastic cups and a jug in our room - old, shabby & stained with ashes. New ones would cost max 40HK$. I don't believe the hostel that charges its visitors rather high rent can't afford spending this money to make at least an impression that they care about cleanliness in their rooms. The cleaning lady kept opening the window and toilet door. If I keep them closed when I leave I want them to be that way! A mouse in the room that shits around is a sanitary CATASTROPHY!

i wasn't living in the same building the office was in , but the room was kinda small for 4 people and there was almost no tools to cook even the basic..stove and a pan for travellers who wish to save the money. I thought the staff were great and tried their best to help with every question

The location of the hostel was very close to the metro, so that was good. There was also security downstairs, and the actual rooms had a separate key from the outer door, so it was safer. However, the photos on Hostelworld do not match the actual property. The rooms were very small and cramped, the bathroom so tiny, very little hot water, and we found a mouse scurrying across our floor and chewing on our things at night.

Great location, near subway and 24/7 open supermarket. It is advertised under many different names but is actually the only hostel on the Causeway area. Rooms are very small with very small beds. The pictures do not match at all with reality. they seem to be from somewhere else. There was no heating but we did have AC (did not tried it). Bathroom door was made of glass (you could see through it). There were three computers in the common areas, and you also have a small kitchen (no cutlery).

First of all, this hostel is running illegally and not at all like the pictures. The rooms were muggy, bathrooms were filthy with bugs (room was pretty dirty, too) and I had BED BUGS. I feel bad because I have never rated a hostel this low before but it was pretty bad. The reception couldn't even direct us correctly to some of the most obvious landmarks. The location was great, but otherwise--no good. I don't recommend this hostel unless you are a homeless alcoholic like the man below me.

The actual hostel is not as we have seen from photos all. The room is dirty, the TV has broken down, and the worst part is there is not towel provided and we have to rent it from the counter. However, Location is good.

There are two things this hostel has majorly going for it--price and location. For Hong Kong, the price is cheap. The location is excellent, very close to city center on the island. As for the other stuff? I guess you get what you pay for. The room was very small and the beds were very hard. My major complaint was that our hot water did not work for the first couple days and we had to ask them two days in a row to fix it before they finally did, but once they did, it was okay.

Very good hostel and maybe the best location in Hong Kong. The only problem is the bathroom because there was a lot of water on the floor during all my stay!!

Don't ever come to this hostel. The staff is rotten. We gave the letter of our reservation and he justified of our resevation is already booked. After we paid the room and the guarantee payment, they gave us the diffent hostel from the hostell that we have booked. We are booked comfort hostel but they give us wangfath hostel at 3rd floor. Very untidy. Bad signal wifi. Appear and disappear. Tiny room with tiny shower room. No windows. Dark room. very regrettable we don't have any time to debate
