It was very noisy because of the street and way to overpriced! wouldn't stay there again.

great location, your in the middle of the happening, but also able to find your green peaceful oasis in the hostel, has potential, and with some ideas it can improve in the future...staff is great and ready to help everytime...if your open enough it will grow on you...

The place is good in general, compared with the rest of the international youth hostel in Chongqing, the only problem is that there were not many people in the hall.

Location of the hostel is great. Staff needs to be more approachable and interactive. My room, 303, needs to be more pleasant and i can even hear my neighbour chatting in their room.

It's a very nice Hostel. I enjoyed my time there a lot. There is a little but very cool bar area with a pool table and some space to hang out and meet other people. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean and hot water supply was 24/7. In general a really great place to spend your time in Chongqing, especially the location is quite unique I guess!

The location of Deck 88 is perfect- I think right next to the best place in the city! We had some troubles with the place though... we got lost and called the number but no one answered, then when we arrived no one was at the front desk, then when we went to out room there was no bedding on the beds. A bit frustrating. But other than that the staff was friendly and helpful- beds were good- and the room was spacious.

Fantastic location by the Hongya Caves development, especially considering the price. Reception was helpful when he could be, but he was only one person so he seemed kind of overwhelmed at times. He also locks the door at midnight so if you want to party, don't stay here. Our twin room had two large and comfortable beds, but the room did have that sewer smell distinct to so many Chinese hostels. Sliding bathroom door was jammed, so we could never close it. Decent wifi throughout the hostel.

This hostel has a great location with lots of character. It didn't have great wifi, and the shower was very primitive/broken. The dorms were small but clean. The staff did their best to help us with security and directions, but they weren't very knowledgeable. No city highlight tours or anything like that. When we asked about a trip to Dazu, they referred us to a Chinese speaking travel agency. Good thing we could speak some Chinese. We didn't see many other travelers, but it was the off-season.

Favourite thing about this hostel was the staff. The girls running place so sweet, really engaging. The place was quiet cos of low season, but they put on free walking tours round the city, hotpot parties and just liked chat n eat with people. Loooads of rooms. Dorms v.tight, but warm, clean & beds reeeal comfortable! Their only issue is the noisy road outside, but once ur in the rooms you can't hear it at all! Free pool, 24hr hot showers! Cheap! Right next Hongya Cave & the river!
