Pretty average. Not disappointed nor impressed. I didn't mind the location, one can get to the city pretty quickly with the DLR station not too far from the hostel.

Everything good really. Loved the area and the fact I could see the Thames from the room I was sleeping in. A steal at around £10 per night in May. The facilities are good. Hot showers, plenty of room for everybody. Breakfasts are good. Free cereal, toast and tea or coffee sets you up for the day. Never heard or saw any problems with security. Lockers in rooms if you wanted to use them. For being in the East End it's easy enough to find. Get off at Island Gardens tube. I shall return.

Good hostel, but about an hour from London centre. Still, the average is good for the money, and their coffee is excellent. :)

The general atmosphere was great, lots of people to meet, there's a big pub downstairs where drinks are very cheap. My only complaint is the triple bunk beds and the amount of people going in and out of room ALL night. My bed was so uncomfortable I had pointy springs in my back. It's hard to get a good nights sleep when people just get up, turn light on, slam doors, at all hours of night. ALSO NO TOWEL PROVIDED. I had to dry myself off with toilet paper.

This is not in the center of london -- about 20 minutes away by tube, however, if you don't mind the commute, it is very easy to get to and from the city center. If you are a female traveling alone, I would recommend you stay in the all-female dorm, however, because the people that stay here are mostly men. The staff is exceptional and it is a very safe place.

I liked the hostel, they are very kind and the rooms and the bathroom were clean.

Really enjoyed the stay. Wish there were lockers in the room that are bigger so its able to fit a pack in, simple addition for a little peace of mind.

Somebody told me the wrong time for breakfast and I ended up missing it because of that. Not cool.

Only a 2 minute walk from Island Gardens DLR and a few minutes from Greenwich foot tunnel. It's a nice area with the Thames and a bit of greenery (even a farm) nearby. Lockers in the rooms. The main downside was the three tiered bunk-beds, which were very wobbly every time someone moved - which doesn't make for a great night's sleep. The room doors could do with something that silences them shutting due to the selfish people who slam them.

A comfortable hostel situated in a quiet environment. Good for people who want to escape from the hustle and bustle London centre. Breakfast is good. It will be the best if there is a kitchen.

This is a quieter hostel. It's really just a pub with rooms to let. There isn't really a common room to hang out and mingle with other backpackers since downstairs is also a working pub. This was, however, a great value. You may be in zone 2, but travel to central London is quite easy.

You should add a computer room for example at the first floor for your guests who couldn't bring their own...

It's a pity no where for one to sit and eat unless you buy food from the bar, you don't even have a place to warm anything you buy from outside everything else is ok
