I've stayed here before and it's the best hostel in London. It's clean, has a great pub downstairs, good facilities and friendly staff. Great value for money too.

The staff is very good, and have a good location. But i never in my life imagine to sleep in a room like that, it's like a jail, smells very bad, and the lockers are very small, so you have to leve your suitcase outside, the internet was excelent, but the room is the big problem!

I loved our stay. For such an inexpensive price, I was expecting a dirty, uncomfortable few nights. I am so glad I was wrong. It's a little ways out of central London, but it is a two minute walk from the metro, so I didn't have a problem with that. Everyone was super nice, and Simon was a great help when we arrived super late. I will definitely go back.

The place is realy nice and clean. Most of the staff is friendly but those who are in charge of both the bar and reception can get too cranky and even rude. Also, it was dissapointing not to have a common area where to meet other residents, and because you are not allowed to bring nor your food or drinks you're forced to consume from their pub. The location is 1hr away from the main attractions, which makes it a pain in the ass to get to after a long day of walking through London.

A nice hostel, relaxed atmosphere and most of the staff (well all but one of the staff) were nice and helpful. The lack of a kitchen/common room was a bummer though, and the downstairs lounge was occupied by private booked parties on several nights. The beds were neat and comfortable enough. Docklands was a very quiet place but nicely accessible up to 1:30AM or so, so no worries there. Very good value for money, but a bit soulless on the standard I'm used to.

Nice place. One problem was with cleanness staff. Just one woman are not friendly, but, it's still ok.

An OK hostel; the lack of a kitchen and a proper social area chafed though (the lounge area was reserved on several evenings).

British manager was a sweetheart, pizza was great, but as someone mentioned before it is a pub first and a hostel second. However, you meet a lot of cool people in the pub. Location is alright, the DLR is next door but you can get stuck downtown if you don't catch the last one. Only two or three showers but bathrooms were clean. Overall I had a good time there, and the free drink was cool

The second I opened the door the overwhelming smell of Maple Syrup and murmuring of "eh?"s I knew there was a Canadian in the house. I guessed right, his name was Jordan and after showing us his favorite hockey stick he gave us the tour then showed us the room. But seriously- great service, good atmosphere, well worth the money.
