I thought it was a bit dear and rather cold. Very nice staff though.

Beautifully located in Glendalough, just 3 minutes away from the monastic village. Great for hiking tours. The breakfast was a bit expensive for just some toast and cereals.

I enjoy the energy in hostels. Unfortunately, two of the three nights we stayed in the hostel there was maybe too much energy with high school and then grade school age scout groups running wild and crazy in the halls until, and the second night, after lights out. The third night was perfection all around. It's a lovely hostel and a divine setting with helpful staff. Perhaps scout and school groups could be advised to make comportment in shared spaces part of their pre-trip training.

Very nice hostel in a great location. The rooms are clean and confortable. We had some problems with very noisy groups but the staff helped to try and solve the problem.

This hostel was really nice. We stayed in a twin bed private and had our own bathroom which was nice. Clean sheets on the beds are always a good thing :) It was very comfortable to stay here. They also had a kitchen we could use which was awesome! It saved us some money :) If I ever come back to this area again I would stay at this hostel. The location is good for all the hiking trails in the national park and is close to the old monastic village.

Staff is super friendly and always around if you need any help. Heating works well, kitchen and ensuite bathroom super tidy and clean and the location is excellent if you wanna go for a hike as it's just so close to the national park. And it's just a five minutes walk from the Visitors Centre. Only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't get wifi in my room and that connecting to the internet is quite dear. If I ever come back to Glendalough, I'll stay there again.
