The location next to the old monastery and by the Wicklow mountains national park trails CANNOT be beat. I loved staying here and the staff were super friendly. I felt very safe and everyone I met was super nice. The toilets did struggle to flush but eventually they would work. There were no curtains on the beds but the rooms felt open so this wasn’t as much of an issue as it is other places. The rooms felt clean and the windows opened to let in fresh air (or could be closed to keep it warm).
