Absolutely great! House is beautiful, location is ideal (tucked away but easy to find if you follow the hostel's directions). Staff really went out of their way for us. Will stay again for sure.

Gojo Guest Annex was a wonderful place to stay. It was in an excellent location in the Gion area, with easy access to the bus and subway lines. We loved to traditional Japanese style and ambiance of the place. It was quiet, so not the best place if you are looking to meet other travelers. The cafe in the main guesthouse may be a better option if you are looking socialize. Overall, we had a great experience!
