Hostel was clean and quiet yet very close to all the bars, shops and the beach. The Hostel has no common room to hang out, but apart from that there is no real negativr side to it.

Neither me nor the other guests felt confortable and welcomed by the staff. Lack of organisation when checking out and next to zero atmosphere! Seems like we are begging to stay there! The rooms thoug ate good and clean and the toilets are very nice but the lockers look very unsafe! I wouldnt stay there again.... SpicyTao is a much better choice!

We stayed here for 4 nights, but didn't like it very much. There were cockroaches under all the beds, the bathroom was not clean, poor facilities, and the owner was a bit strange. The only good thing about this hostel was the aircon and the location was alright aswell. There is just a lack of good budget hostels in Koh Tao, didn‘t really see anything better there.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and I absolutely loved it. The room had everything we needed, the facilities were nice, and everything was cleaned daily. I really enjoyed getting to know the amazing people in my room as well as talking to people in the shoe hallway. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, a great price, and I would highly recommend it to others traveling to Koh Tao!

I thought Ryan was very friendly and the hostel itself was very pleasant, clean, and organized.

Standard expected of a hostel. Nice beds, clean showers. Area to store backpacks. Only 5 mins walk from the beach. Would stay here again.

The beds were comfy and it was nice that everyone had their own shelf and light. The owner Ryan was friendly enough, but seemed a bit put off that we arrived two hours later than we had stated on the booking (the boat left late) despite the fact that it was only 4pm. Not a good first impression but seemed friendly enough after that. Good location near the beach and food, and we all got our own key which made us feel secure about our stuff. A little overpriced, but would recommend.

Nice place to stay although the staff is a bit quirky. The manager wasn't too helpful and spends a lot of time on facebook. It's a basic dorm military style. Doesn't really have a common area to hang out and meet people. The nice thing is that the bathroom facilities are only shared by the people in the dorm and not shared by everyone. AC is nice. Koh Tao is super expensive so for the money it's okay. Clean and large locker to store your stuff.

We didn't actually stay at Good Dreams as we were sent to their sister hostel - Big Blue down the street, which was amazing! Great rooms with AC and private bathroom, beautiful pool and beachfront location. Never saw the rooms at GD, but we loved our upgrade to the other dorm! :)

Really close to town center, comfortable beds, small lockers inside the rooms. one plug and light point per bed is always a plus. didnt have a common area just a bech in front of the rooms, that is not ideal for solo travellers to help meet people. in general is a good hostel

Good small hostel! Nice big beds and it's nice there's only few dorms. The doors of the dorms are never locked so anyone can go in, it would be ok to recommend everyone staying to lock the door when leaving the dorm. AC saved our lives. We really liked our stay, spent there five nights in March 2013.

The dorms at this hostel were AMAZING. Great AC and wi-fi, super clean and had great, accessible bathrooms. The beds themselves were great and every bed had a shelf, outlets, a lamp, a locker and hooks to hang towels. The beach is a bit of a walk, but nothing that is unmanageable!

I loved it. very chilled place, good showers and rooms, only a 5 min walk from the beach, and you can book your travel plans with the manager Ryan who is also a travel agent. Definitely recommend it!

Was pleased that even though I arrived late and they were full otherwise that my bed was still available. Dorm rooms had that typical dorm room smell of sweat and ?? but were alright otherwise. They claim to offer hot water showers but the one I used only had cold. When I commented on checkout, I was told the other stall had the hot water. Wth? A sign to that effect would have been helpful. Wifi signal was pretty decent, but lack of common area was a bit of a drawback. Good for a solo traveller.

I did not stay. The owner was quite rude & ignorant, he had given our beds away. I had left those options as poor because i couldn't finish the review without choosing an option. The options selected as very poor are those that i had experienced when i arrived.

When I arrived at the hostel, they said it was fully booked and didn't have any left bed. I showed the guy my confirmation email, but he had nothing left. he sent me to another one which i could never found because it was night time and there wasn't enough lights on the street. dont book with them or arrive veryearly in the morning.
