Hostel is in a beautiful location but without a car is 20 minutes from the nearest supermarket and 10 minutes from the nearest bus stop. Plugs are only accessible to the bottom bunk. On laundry day staff were particularly unhelpful with getting change for laundry telling me simply that 'they don't have any because its always busy on a Monday'. Getting a few extra rolls of dollars on a Monday or emptying the machines seemed beyond their talents.

Would be nice to have more electrical outlets in dorm.

The Cafe was great and was pleasantly surprised by room accommodations! Felt a little short staffed at times especially during busy check-in periods but otherwise was great stay!

This is a very good hostel! ... if you don't mind staying outside the the city centre!I would reccomend anyone who drives a car to stay here. 50 metres away from the hostel you can park for free your entire stay. It has a lot of happenings and a good affordable café where you can buy beer. What was bad was that the dorms were really big (18 beds) and since the location is quiet and calm it has a fair bit of older (snoring) visitors. Could have more places with sockets to use computers.

My favorite hostel in Western Canada. I was a little daunted by the 18 bed dorms, but the segregation is great so only feels like you're in a 4 bed dorm. Amazing location to Locarno and Jericho beaches.

I enjoyed my stay here, but there were a few things that irked me. It was a hot week in Vancouver, which is unusual I guess, but it made sleeping difficult as there were no fans in the rooms. Privacy when taking a shower was almost no existent. Powerpoints were difficult to find. No one at the front desk told me that you can buy a book of tickets instead of individually, which got expensive

Im a female who came alone to Canada and felt safe and comfortable here, would definitely recommend it!

Super location and great staff. Facility is clean and has everything you need, also organize tours and day trips (I didn't get a chance to use). Would be good to have secondary lighting in dorm room, so you could turn off the overhead light, and could use some more outlets for charging devices. There is a licensed cafe with indoor seating as well as an adjacent picnic area, and all a short stroll across a park to one of Vancouver's best beaches.

A very clean and safe hostel in a beautiful waterfront area with a stunning view of the downtown skyline! Good connection by bus with downtown and UBC!

Great hostel but quite a way out of town.
