The staff don't speak english and they don't know how to help you. Rooms are small and noisy and not well cleaned. I had problem with the deposit. After having a look at the room I decided to stay only one night. And I still had to pay the deposit for the following three night that I booked before.

Tiny windowless room, noisy environment. Staff was ok and hostel conveniently located next to an MTR exit.

When we arrived at the hostel we were told that they would charge us double for the last night we had booked. This despite an email exchange with the hostel previously where they said it would be no extra cost. When I told them that this was unacceptable the woman at the desk just laughed, they then wanted an extra 200hkd for 1 room key. The room wasn't as clean as expected and the shower was cold on the first morning. Staff were unhelpful and rude.

I´ve stayed at Hakkas Guesthouse for 6 nights and can only recommend it to all who attach less importance to luxury and intend to explore the city. The location is great, just opposite the MTR station Jordan(exit B1) and only about 1km from the Waterfront.Rooms are tiny(but that´s common in HK),often without a window(but surprisingly it didn´t bother me much).Beds are really comfortable, there is also Wi-Fi in every room as well as flat-TV.

Excellent location. Hosts are nice and let me store my luggage for an extra day! The room was clean and I enjoyed my stay.

Nothing fancy but has clean mattresses and is very quiet. Just remember to turn on the switch with the red light if you want hot water to shower with. The staff were friendly and the location was great!
