This place isn't quite as nice as many you'd find in other cities but I think it's as good as you'll get on a budget in HK. The rooms are small and simple, but fine really. The shower system isn't great, you have to wait a little while for the water to heat and the tank is small, so you can't have a long shower.
The owner is very nice, helpful and he has lots of information and materials. He seemed to genuinely want to help out as much as possible.

From 2002 to 2009 I've been to HK 15 to 20 X.Stayed in hostels & hotels.The owner is very helpful,sincere & friendly.Price wise the hostel is very resonable.Location & service is good.Toilet & bathroom is clean & SPACIOUS.You can hardly find hostel rooms of this size for what you pay.Good to have some cheap simple &

This is a perfect place to stay whilst in HK. Kevin, the owner is very helpful and friendly. The hostel from top to bottom is very clean and is cleaned daily. We had a great few nights at Hakkas Guesthouse. The owner Kevin is a helpful and polite and a great host. The rooms are a good size for HK and cleaned daily to a very good standard. Location is perfect just outside Jordan Metro station. I would highly recommend this Guesthouse.We had a great few nights at Hakkas Guesthouse. I am very pleased with my 6 day stay in Hakkas Guesthouse. Since this was my second visit , i am able to compare my stay in other hostel before . I recommend hostelworld travellers friends to stay in the Hakkas Guesthouse because it fullfill all the 6 rating as my assesment above. Location is great because MTR is just below you. Thank you / terima kasih Mr Kevin/ Pak Kevin for you help . I will surely stay there when ever i visit Hong Kong .I am very pleased with my 6 day stay in Hakkas Guesthouse. hakkas guesthouse is in a very good location for the first timer to hong kong.
