Here’s the deal (keep it simple):
💸 Payment & Booking
• Flexible Rate → Pay when you arrive. More freedom, slightly higher price.
• Non-Refundable Rate → Pay upfront, save money. No cancellations or changes. Pick this if you’re 100% locked in.
For Non-Refundable bookings: We’ll auto-charge your card. If payment fails, we’ll send a secure link — so watch your inbox (and spam folder!). Missed emails = possible cancellation.
💰 Tourist Tax + Municipal Tax = extra per person, per night (not included in your price).
Under 17? You’re tax-free.
🏡 House Rules
• Kids under 18? Must book a private room.
• No bed-sharing in dorms — everyone gets their own bed.
• Lost your key? €10 replacement.
• Cards: Visa & Mastercard only (no Amex).
• Dorm sizes: We’ll try to match your choice, but sometimes we shuffle. Price changes? We’ll email you first.
• Late check-out without asking? Fee applies. Just ask — we’re chill (within limits).
• No-show? First night charged, rest cancelled.
• Cancellations: 48 hours’ notice via email. We’ll confirm.
• Max stay: 10 nights.
• Groups of 10+? Not accepted — we keep it intimate for solo travellers & small squads.

Nestled at the base of Montjuic, HelloBCN Hostel has been a popular spot for travellers coming to Barcelona since it opened its doors in 2006. With an array of activities organised for guests (pub crawl, group dinners, beer pong), and the friendly disposition of the staff you'll feel at home right away. The hostel is located just minutes from the Parallel metro station giving easy access to all of Barcelona's top attractions, and it's within walking distance of Port Vell, La Rambla, and the Gothic Quatre. We particularly like their unusual electronic bracelet keys because they're difficult to lose or steal.
