Start your day right with our simple yet delicious breakfast before heading out on an amazing free walking tour. After a full day of exploring Barcelona, come back and join us for dinner, drinks, and games in the common area. And if you still have energy, head out for a night on the town with the Party Animals! They know where the best parties are. End your day with a great night’s sleep in one of our comfortable beds.
Our friendly staff is available 24/7 to help you and provide tips on the best things to see and do in Barcelona.
HelloBCN Youth Hostel is located in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Poble-sec, less than 1 km from the famous pedestrian street Las Ramblas and the popular Plaza Reial, filled with bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Within Poble-sec and a short walk from the hostel, you’ll find Calle Blai, a street that has become famous among young people for its excellent and affordable tapas. There are also many local supermarkets and specialty food stores (e.g., fruit shops, bakeries) nearby to help you stick to your budget.
Just a two-minute walk from the Paral.lel metro/bus stop, the hostel is well-connected to all of Barcelona’s major attractions, including La Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Montjuïc (where you can enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona or relax at the magical Mirador del Migdia bar), and of course, the beach!
At the hostel, you’ll find advanced security technology, including electronic keys that provide 24-hour access, a 24-hour reception desk, and security cameras. We also offer amazing services such as free Wi-Fi, a bar, a communal kitchen and lounge, ping pong, and much more!
We offer check-in starts at 2:00 p.m., and check-out on your last day is before 11:00 a.m. If you arrive earlier or your flight/train/bus departs later, you can leave your luggage in our storage room (open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
Be sure to save our email address as safe to prevent any communication from the hostel from going to your spam folder. And keep a look out for the email that we send you on the day prior to your arrival. Inside you will find a link to our Guest App (don't worry it's a web app so no need to download anything!) where you will find loads of information about Barcelona and the hostel, a link for completing the registration of all guests (the Spanish authorities now require many details for each guest, so by completing this registration process before you arrive will reduce the amount of time required for checking you in and allow you to get out and have fun sooner!), and a direct chat with out reception team to answer any of your last minute queries!
Now, the serious stuff:
1. All nights of accommodation must be paid upon arrival, except in the case of Non-Refundable Bookings, which must be paid prior to arrival. With the Non-Refundable Rate, you’ll receive a discount compared to the Flexible Rate. By choosing the Non-Refundable Rate, you waive the right to cancel your booking, whether partially or fully, and to receive a refund. The total amount of the booking must be paid in advance. Once the booking is received, the remaining amount will be charged to the card used to confirm the booking. If the charge cannot be processed, you will receive an email from the hostel with a secure link to complete the payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that we can contact you if there is an issue with the payment. If you do not see emails in your main folder, please check your spam folder. Failure to make the advance payment may result in the cancellation of your booking.
2. There is a Tourist Tax and a Municipal Tax per person per night. These taxes are not included in the price. Guests under 17 years of age are exempt from these taxes.
3. Guests with children under 18 years old must book private accommodation.
4. Guests cannot share a bed in a dormitory.
5. Lost keys will incur a charge of 10 euros.
6. We accept Visa or Mastercard. American Express is not accepted.
7. We do our best to accommodate bookings in the dorm size you choose; however, due to the nature of our business, we may need to place you in a dorm of a different size. As a result, the balance payable upon arrival may differ slightly from what is indicated in your confirmation. Any such changes will be notified via email before your arrival.
8. Late check-out (without prior agreement) may incur a late check-out fee.
9. For no-shows, we will charge the first night. The remaining nights of the booking will be canceled.
10. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made via email at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date and time. We will confirm your cancellation or change via email.

Hostelworld says
Nestled at the base of Montjuic, HelloBCN Hostel has been a popular spot for travellers coming to Barcelona since it opened its doors in 2006. With an array of activities organised for guests (pub crawl, group dinners, beer pong), and the friendly disposition of the staff you'll feel at home right away. The hostel is located just minutes from the Parallel metro station giving easy access to all of Barcelona's top attractions, and it's within walking distance of Port Vell, La Rambla, and the Gothic Quatre. We particularly like their unusual electronic bracelet keys because they're difficult to lose or steal.
