Hollanda Montri Guesthouse Reviews

Location is bad, there's nothing(such as restaurant or shop or bar) around. It's next to riverside, but there's no river view from room. The build is big and several floors with a long pass way on each floor, and all rooms are at the same side of passway. It's quite like a normal dormitory for student or workers in factory, but not like a GH with personal taste or idea. A/C inside is big, noisy and old, no leak, ugly big desk inside room. I won't choose it again.

The hostel itself was lovely. The sitting area was beautiful. Our group spent many hours facing the river, sitting in the cozy lounge chairs drinking coffee or sharing beers. The (major) downside to our stay was the staff. After staying at hostels with incredibly friendly staff, it was hard adjusting to hollanda. No one was very friendly, or helpful, nor did they speak English. This made booking tours, paying bills, and checking out very, very difficult. Would be better if the staff was nice.
