The wifi is pretty terrible - it cuts out quite frequently.

Lovely place across the river and away from the chaos of the old city--yet a quick bike ride to all the sights. Huge room, good air con, tv, good wifi but shower only warm; community fridge. Restaurant but I didn't eat there. Lovely patio overlooking the river--great place to hang out. Can jog or bike the trail along the river for about a mile. Rent a kayak from the canoe club 5 minute walk away (5 PM till sunset) and explore the river--well worth it! Peaceful oasis.

Very helpful staff, Sawat the bartender is what really made this stay so wonderful! Close to the city (5-10 minute drive by moped). Excellent rooms, very spacious and clean. Roughly 30 minute drive to Mae Rim to see the elephants. Right on the river, very peaceful, and the food was phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend.

The hostel was amazing for what we paid. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. Lek one of the receptionist was great help and good people. Location was great very quite which is what we wanted. It walking distance to a fruit market with a lot of great food.

Far away from downtown (about 30min Walk), Tours could be booked at reception --> perfect!, simple furniture in the room, no safe, some lamps didn't work. Reception was very polite and helpful. Location of the guesthouse too far away from everything!! The power in the room worked at all times (even when you are not there) that was good for keeping things in the fridge.

It is a great place to stay, a bit away from the center, but very nice located at the river with a beautiful terrace where you can often hear live music in the evenings from the next bar. Breakfast is not included but they have a great offer for reasonable prices. The staff will always help you if you have any questions!

Stunning location on the river, helpful and cheerful staff. A little to far from main city centre for what we needed but we didn't mind as tuk tuk cost 80 bhat. And the river location is great.

We had a great stay at Hollandas. A bit away from the city center, but at a very nice place next to the river where you can spend a chilling evening, the staff will make you feel comfortable! If you are not scared of the traffic you can rent bikes for free!

Location too far out if you are wanting things to do on an evening/ elsewhere to eat. No safety deposit box in the room. Breakfast wasn't included as stated on here but simply available to purchase. Prices for the pool were wrong. However staff were very friendly and its a nice place to relax.

I had a great time staying here. Beautiful place with very nice little bungalows. Nicely landscaped and well kept place. Staff was friendly and there were lots of cute dogs running around. Location is perfect, about 5 minutes drive by scooter to the town and easy to get to everything from here. Would definitely stay here again. Pai was amazing!

Beautiful hotel right on the riverfront . Great for a couple days to relax . Quite a long walk from Chiang mai center

Beautiful room, delicious food, and nice staff. Stayed here while we were on our honeymoon. It's a little outside the city center, but it's close enough to be a convenient tuk tuk ride to the old city and far enough away to be quiet at night.

I want say big thank yous to Sawat for being so welcoming. Phailin was the best. She was so very sweet and attentive. She was kind enough when she saw me walking into town to stop and give me a ride. I got to meet her beautiful boy at the Sunday walking market. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The nicest place we've stayed in Asia so far! Staff were friendly and helpful especially the comical Sawat. Rooms reasonably priced, clean and spacious. Good selection of food on the menu. Highly recommend the Hollanda Montri. We only booked in for 3nights ended up staying a week and a half...think that says it all!

We stayed here for 4 nights, it is in a great spot right on the river, although is a 30 minute walk to town, but that didn't bother us, the staff are very helpful, provide maps, trekking tours etc, restaurant on site is very good, we ate here a lot, kitchen is closed on Sunday's so we went next door for food and was disappointed would recommend this guest house to anyone travelling to chiang mai

About 7 min from bus terminal, you shouldnt pay more than 100 baht if arriving late at night. The place has a tuk tuk guy who charges very cheap, never taking advantage of foreigners as we used his service everytime he was there. He even waited for us when the money exchange place wasnt open yet. We def recommened Blue Tao Elephant Village for your elephant experience. Hollanda Montri is known and wont have problems went telling your tuk tuk or taxi where you are staying.
