About

Hey there! We are Like Home, a cozy guesthouse run by Nuy and her two cats

What makes us different
We include breakfast and dinner daily. It's practical (saves you money) but also just... nice? There's this natural flow where everyone ends up at the table together, sharing food and swapping stories

The everyday stuff
• Free breakfast and dinner
• Laundry included
• Bikes you can borrow
• Wi-Fi that actually works
• Help booking tours and anything else you need
• Scooters for rent if you want to explore further

Our vibe
We are not a party hostel. It feels more like staying at a friend’s place where you can chill, meet nice people if you want, or do your own thing. Nuy is basically everyone’s Thai mom. She will make sure you are fed, happy, and know the best local spots.

Good to know
We are in Haiya, a local neighborhood that is quiet but close to everything. You can walk to temples, markets, and the Old City easily, and it is peaceful enough to sleep well.

If you are looking for a place that feels more like home than a hostel, come hang out. We would love to have you.

The most amazing place I’ve ever stayed. This isn’t a joke or a cynical favour, it’s truly a level of care and kindness that is unmatched in my experience and that I struggle to believe can be surpassed. Nuy is the loveliest host you could ever hope for and will go above and beyond to look after you. Some accommodation is more basic than others, but none are below what the prices warrants. It’s the best value for money one could hope for.

Wonderful host who would go above and beyond for you, cooks you breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening and can help with any bookings or bike rentals. The property itself gave you that backpacking feeling and it was in a lovely area of Chiang mai with easy access to everything Chiang mai has to offer. The only issue I’d say was the air conditioning machine didn’t work to full capability but apart from that, it was spot on
