A strange hotel slash hostel . Perfect to sleep in but didn't have proper full kitchen facilities and I had to opt to eat out or prepare cold plate options . It's also up many many hills and if you are coming from the train station with heavy bags you will be in for a horrendous 25 minute walk up hill . Take the bus there as the bus station is closer to the hostel
This place is fine if you're just looking for a bed. But the beds in the rooms are very close together, nearly touching. And there is no atmosphere in the common spaces and no space to lock things up! Santiago certainly doesn't seem to have many young travelers coming through so maybe there isn't enough interest to support activities anyway.
Stayed here for two nights after finishing the Camino. Was disappointed that there was no kitchen, but in general the stay was quiet and comfortable. Rooms are simple but clean. Location is pretty good - about 10 minutes walk from both the cathedral and the bus station, but not much to see in the area immediately surrounding the hotel.
This property has a hotel and hostel in one so each room is set up similar to a hotel room. The facilities were nice and the beds were comfortable. The location is maybe a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. My stay here was quite enjoyable
