Perfect location in the centre of Nice. Friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff with good local knowledge; they really helped us to make the most of our time in Nice. We appreciated the opportunity to meet and mix with other guests in the "social" area (and it was VERY social!) beside reception. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated with a decent bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.

I spent two excellent nights is this place. The hostel is so nice, the staff was so friendly ( french girl and spanish guy ). They provided lots of information about the city, the best places to go,etc. The location is fantastic ( so close to the beach ) and the old city centre. The place is safe and beside the hostel has a Carrefour. If I visit Nice again, I'llstay in this hostyel. If you are wondering to go to Nice, you wont regreat staying there.

The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. It was worth every penny to stay there. In fact, if I were in Nice again, I would choose to stay at this hostel again.

It's definitely one of the nicest hostels I've seen. Very clean, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere.

Myself & my partner stayed in Room 4, a double room. The hostel was very well located, easy to find from the train station. The breakfast which was included was v .good & there is a supermarket downstairs. We would recommend the hostel if you are planning to stay in Nice. The staff were helpful & friendly especially Audrey & the future Gaelic Footballer from Galicia & Andrea the cleaner. One criticism, I think that "partiers" should be hunted from reception at 11, It can be a nit noisy at night.

Good location, close to the beach, and right next to supermarket. Great to have breakfast included but a gluten-free option would have been better :) Nice social lounge area, and room was comfortable.

Meyerbeer Hostel's highest achievement is their location, they're literally down the street from the beach. The staff was nice, though the women who checked us in wasn't remarkably friendly. The major problem I had with this hostel is that they needed a bigger hot water heater. A lot of people in my suite had to take cold showers when we came back from a long day of exploring, since the hot water had run out. Also, someone stole our room heater, so the room was freezing the first two nights.

Good place to stay, room and bathroom clean, bed was fine. It's ideally place just off Promenade des Anglais, 5 mins walk to Railway station and short walk to the old city. There was a good atmosphere there the night I stayed, although they closed the common are at midnight. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The next time I'm in town I'll stay here.
