Rooms were clean, cool view of the street. Beach is at the top of the street. 15m away from center by walking (so thats good!) Breakfast food was standard Toast/cereal/nutella. Grocery store next door. Cubbies to store belongings (Bring a combination lock!) Reception is OK, "Office de Tourisme" is much more helpful (receptionist led us twice to the wrong stop/bus #). It's a small hostel! But does the job for a couple nights stay. Not the best I've ever been too, it's purely standard to me.

Had a very comfortable stay here. It is a good location once you actually arrive (the first trek there with bags on from the station is a tad far so be prepared). Good to have kitchen but it can get crowded quickly.

I very much appreciated the arrival at the hostel, cause the receptionist was very welcoming! The hostel is so modern and clean - I think there is (almost) nothing to improve. Only thing that I rated "good" and not "excellent" was the facilities (meaning the kitchen and eating corner), because it's a bit small compared to the flux of guests. But even here, I'm positively impressed!!!! Have a nice Christmas, joyeuses fêtes and see you definitely next time! Alex

I stayed in both Villa and Meyerbeer for 1 night each. The difference is this is a smaller hostel but it makes me feel more like home,I was able to have more interaction with other guest, and is the only hostel that allows me to unload my luggage and settle down before starting check-in procedure, staff was so friendly and provided a lot useful info for the city. Its a surprise that a small hostel served so decent breakfast! Can use quilt cover as its more hygienic:) 1 night so short thank you:)

We enjoyed our stay in this hostel although 6 bed dorm rooms are quite crowded and better lockers would have been appreciated. The beds were incredibly loud making a good nights sleep difficult especially with the noise from the street. The shower did not have an extractor fan which was also annoying. Apart from these difficulties we really liked the hostel and had a good stay.

It is one of the best Hostels I have ever visited, everything about it is good. Excellent location, good internet and delicious breakfast. It also has an entertainment room and very nice people at your service. The room and the bed were clean and big. I have no complaints.

First: excuse me for my poor language skills, but I try the best I can, to persuade you all in a few seconds that this hostel was one of the best hostel experiences since years. Not that other hostels are not good. But in this hostel everything was excellent. Like always, it depends all of your expectations and the way you travel.

Very good hostel, clean and very close to the beach. The staff is very cool and helpful, even going out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. The common area is good for meeting people as well as relaxing. There are books there as well as Xbox and TV. It could be a bit larger though. About 10 min walk to the train station. 100-200m to the bus stop from where you can go directly to the airport. Great atmosphere. Good prices as well. Highly recommended

I really enjoyed my weekend at Meyerbeer. It was in a good location right on the edge of the main shopping area of the city. But the whole city is pretty walkable. The staff were helpful. I stayed in a 8 bed mix dorm with an ensuite. It was a descent size and the bathroom was ok. It was a little dingy and had smell to it, but it was functional. All in all it was a good place and I'd stay here again.

Everything was OK. The rooms have bathrooms with showers, I like that. People who work there were friendly and helped me with what I needed. I did not appreciate that, when they wanted me to change rooms because everyone else in mine left, the guy at the reception gave me some BS about the importance of me meeting new people instead of being straight about the fact that it isn't worth it for the hostel to keep a room open just for me. Nevertheless, that's just a small thing, I'd recommend it.

We thought that this was excellent accommodation and they couldn't anything more to improve. Staff were excellent and knowledgeable about the area.
