Tonella, the receptionist is wonderful; she is very friendly, helpful and professional! I was staying in a single room, comfy bed with a wash basin which is quite convenient for a quick wash while waiting to use the shared bath. The only dislike is my room window is by the railway track and main road which can be a bit noisy though. A good location which is quite near to the railway station and tourist sites. Breakfast is good for that price. Good cappuccino!

Breakfast was good and daytime staff was helpful. Only complaint is that the one night were out late we were locked out and something was wrong with the intercom or night reception and we had to use international calling minutes in order to get back in.

Breakfast was great-cereal, croissants/rolls, jam/chocolate/honey, and even some pie. The rooms were nice and the air conditioning worked well. Problems: the wifi wasn't very strong in the room and dropped when more than 2 people were on. The shower for our room had no partition from the rest of the floor, so when we washed the whole floor got wet. The location is great, next to the train station. The staff were nice and very helpful; they were there at 10:56 to check us in when we were late.

Perfect location, two minutes from the train station and from many of the major sights. Lovely room of a really good size, the en suite was small but worked like a wet room and was really clean. The staff were lovely and it was nice you could et a cheap coffee from the bar unlike in the streets of Florence! Breakfast was good also, would definitely recommend this hostel!

This was a last minute booking, as it is hard to find hostels in the central area of florence. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great price considering the location

Umberto was gracious, helpful and always concerned for our day. The only difficulty we had was that it was very hot and they were in the process of adding air conditioning to our room but it wouldn't be completed for two more weeks. The hostels central location was great but with no ac we wanted open the windows but you are literally across the street from the train/bus/tram station and they ran practically all night. We didn't get much sleep.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We had to leave very early in the morning but the hotel staff prepared a packed breakfast for us. That was really great of them. Very much appreciated! It is a clean no-frills but comfortable place to stay. They are also close to the bus station which worked great for us.
