Hotel Patio de San Diego Reviews

We arrive to the hostel and It was full. There wasn't any room for us. We followed the guy from the hostel to another place. It were like 5 blocks from there. The new building wasn't finished yet. There were people still working on the construction. The place was really dirty and the smell of fresh paint was terrible. We decided to go to another place. Sorry but I can't say nothing good about this hostel. The good part is that hostelworld.com refound us the money we deposited before.

We stayed at this hostel a few days before traveling to Bogota. I left my wedding ring in the safe and realized it the next day after leaving this part of the country. We called Leonel the Hostel manager and he found the ring. He keep the ring safe for over 10days before we could return and pick it up. Wow what character and honesty from the Hostel staff to be honest about finding and returning my valuable ring. I recommend staying at this Hostel. It´s both safe and very comfrontable.

My brother and I had a very pleasant stay at Patio de San Diego - the room and communal areas were very clean and pleasant and staff extremely helpful and friendly. The only negative comment I would make was that on our check out day, the maid was already cleaning our room before we checked out and refused to leave when we returned to our room well before check out time to freshen up before a long journey home. This made us feel rather uncomfortable but was the only thing that marred our stay.
