A nice hostel with helpful staff in a good location. The hostel itself was very cold and the bar expensive.

Front desk workers - especially the younger man and the extremely friendly girl with the ponytail - are so nice and helpful! Their English is incredible and they are fun, friendly, and very outgoing. I reduced the rating because the staff at the cafe is generally not very motivated and does not provide good service. Food okay here - expensive! Cafe is WAY too cold - literally & figuratively - to really enjoy it. Rooms - esp. showers - were nice. Heating does NOT work well, so bring warm clothes.

The place was very quiet - guess its due to the time of year. Staff were friendly. Had one meal here which was awful - day old rice and not very tasty. If you do the organised tours of the city you will stop at a few shops on the way back - this is apparently typical for Chinese tours to do this!

The location couldn't be more perfect; staff is extremely helpful; the commom area is just wonderful (pool, book, lot of place to hang out); the room are big (even the dorm)... One small thing though: the bed are a bit like rock, you do feel all the springs in it. But this should not change your mind about staying here!

Very stillest hostel. Located in the old street of the town infront of great restaurant. Staff was great and very helpful.

We had such a lovely time at the hostel we decided to stay on for an additional two nights. This hostel is the best way to see Huang Shan and the surrounding villages. We had a great trip and part of the reason is this hostel. I shall not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
