Brilliant location and very friendly staff. We were expecting a shared bathroom however our en suite was a nice surprise. The location was perfect for our trip. Our only problem was that it was very noisy in the evening due to the metal doors openinging and closing. There is a limit on noise after 10pm however and we felt that this was considered by most guests. Due to the location there is also a bit of noise from outside traffic. The benefits of this hostel outweigh the negatives. Will return!

Do not stay here. Extremely poorly run. Lists of "rules" everywhere. Rooms like prison cells, toilet seats fell off, no toilet paper, sink drains clogged with hair, halls smell of stail cigarette smoke, wifi very slow. Stayed here in 2006, had a great time. It's changed management since then and it's horrible now. Would never go back.

Great price for a great location. Doesn't include breakfast. A great choice if you want to be relaxed and stay away from the loud partying crowds. Some of the staff were great, some weren't very helpful.

A very nice experience, since the location is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The only thing to complain about is the bathrooms that were shared and were not cleaned for a whole weekend.

Private room is a prison cage. Not worth the money definitely. Walls seem to me bade from paper, very noisy, WiFi is only strong in the kitchen. Also they don't take into account reservation price you pay here at hostelworld and charge you full price. We run away after spending a night there and found a lovely hostel with great private room for cheaper!

Nice hostel but zero athomsphere I was there few years ago and this was totally different place.
