Great place to stay, just what we were looking for. Little pricier than other hostels in the area but we thought it was worthwhile.

clearly trying to run a restaurant, with the actual hostel as a bit of an aftethought. with that said, the food and service was not good at all. however, in terms of location the hostel is positioned excelently, the bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was really really good. bottom line, nice hostel, good possition, but rubbish for food and atmosphere

The location is fantastic. The staff were really helpful in booking bus and train tickets for the next leg of our trip. Although the double room was very small it was clean, and with a private bathroom. I recommend using the virtually free council bikes (join up at the end of the street, just over the road - leave a deposit and you're good to go. The bike return places are plentiful).

Wonderful hostel. Nice soft beds. Gorgeous rooftop garden. The pantry and laundry area needs a bit of refurbishing /maintenance though.

This was our second stay here and on the whole we were very happy. Staff friendly and helpful and the flowers everywhere were lovely. The weather was nice so we made the most of the roof, watching the sun go down and relaxing. The only downside was the drains smell in our bathroom. We had a twin deluxe room without a view which was comfortable but had a pretty pervasive smell in the bathroom. Once we'd used the shower the smell wasn't so bad. We'll still definitely visit again.

Room floor not cleaned daily. Room 318 was noisy after 8.45am or 9am because of some loud machinery noise (sounds like an exhaust fan for the restaurant downstairs), thus the room is not for late risers. Otherwise location is great for access to the lake. Ambience for restaurant was very good but food is average and a bit pricey.

Location location location. Cozy atmosphere. Some street noise, but it's not a busy street. Just a couple of moped alarms going off. The restaurant/bar was full of fresh flowers. They serve a beautiful cup of coffee, too. Will definitely stay there again.

Very good location and friendly service, but it's a pity that I've got the wrong information like 3 times and that costs me a lot of time and money. I would recommend the staff to update their information about the city of Hangzhou.

I stayed at this place during Chinese new year and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect being only a few steps away from West Lake. The atmosphere for the new year was excellent with the hostel putting on midnight Jiaozi. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The food and drink were a little overpriced in the restaurant though.

Second stay at this hostel, last time was in a single room, this time in a dorm. The stay in the dorm was nice, beds were clean, bathroom was fairly clean, though far from perfect. It's a great location, but still way too expensive for what you get if you're on a backpackers' budget. If you don't mind the price, you'll get an average stay with a great location.

Good location (a few meters from the west lake) , nice staff , nice flower smell at the entry. Perfect when you are in couple but I would rather take another hotel if you are with friends to have fun.

Room was lovely, warm and comfortable. Breakfast, not so good. Food better in Ming Town Hostel, shame as cafe looked nice. Staff a little miserable, a smile would go a long way. That said we had a lovely stay. Best hostel in Hangzhou.
