This is second time I have visited Lijiang. But this is first time I stay in this hostel. I really feel this like my home. the location is good, quite and peacefull. But it is a little bit difficult to find this hostel if you visited Lijiang at your first time. However the room is cleaness with reasonable price.

Location was excellent. The reception people were friendly and helpful. The room wasn't expensive (118 RMB for Double Private) but it was windowless, quite cold during night and had pretty much the worst hostel bed I have even slept on. Could feel the springs coming thru so had to use extra blanket to make it more bareable. Probably would't stay there again.

Very helpful staff. The furniture is getting a bit old and beat up, and the TV in the dorm room is a waste of space, but nice common area. Also, it was nice to have shelves in the room to unpack a little. Hot water is available in the mornings and evenings.

LaoShay is a great place for traveler to stay!!! I made many friends over there, and the staffs were very nice and helpful. I got too many unforgettable memories form here, highly recommended to choose LaoShay!!!!

The staffs are very helpful with the information, they recomment the private driver for day trip - the driver was very good no cheating and very reasonable price. The room is clean, good locaton.
