Kinlay House Hostel Galway Reviews

This is a large hostel with pretty good facilities. Seems best-suited for large groups and party-focused travelers, and can get a bit loud and crowded for the solo traveler looking to keep earlier hours - particularly the loud closing of doors all night.

It seemed like a very nice place with a great location. We just had a bad experience when a lady was smoking in our room.

The staff was wonderful. Our room smelled strongly of mold was really our only complaint. We loved everything else and recommended it to our friends.

Nice atmosphere and great location for exploring the city centre, as well as a great breakfast and friendly staff. Only con was that the showers only give you about 30 seconds of water which is not really hot and the drains had an issue with draining.

Helpful staff and neat atmosphere, Difficult with parking and expensive the stamp yhing does nothing as you pay at a machine.

Very good hostel! Big, standard hostel accommodations, but very central very clean. They facilitate a GREAT pub crawl, which you should definately take advantage of! Attentive staff, and 24/7 service.

The showers seem to function bad with warm and cold water. Sometimes everything is Ice cold and then too warm to stand in.
