Summary of traveller reviews

La Casa Roja in Santiago offers a vibrant atmosphere with a beautiful garden and pool area, perfect for socializing. Many guests appreciate the spacious common areas and the well-equipped kitchen. While the historic building has charm, some recent reviews mention issues with cleanliness in bathrooms and occasional noise disturbances. It's a great spot for solo travellers and those looking for a lively social scene.

The house is cold, workers are rude specially the girl with glasses doing the morning shift, she doesn't know anything about the city, is grumpy and has attitude. The people that do the housekeeping sprayed a whole lot of sanitizer in the bedroom I was sleeping at regardless of me being there, I was coughing severly after that. They do not provide a key and if your lock out from your room, you must go for the person in reception that won't even move from their seat. Terrible

I stayed in the women's dorm, and did not like that the bunk beds did not have guard rails on the top bunks. As well, there were no power outlets in the room at all. There were USB plugs next to each bunk, but I had to leave my laptop and other devices in the hallway to charge them, and was not happy about that.

Really big hostel with big garden and big kitchen. Pretty good value but it’s quite far out of town. It had a living room which we slept in after our night bus. Pool is nice to sit by lots of people were working. Beds were decent.
