Nice hostel, there are only 2 computers so if you dont have your own laptop prepare to wait ages to get online. Was a nice place, only trouble was the manager would walk in and not knock when showing people what the rooms looked like, amd not the room they were staying in. And the bootom floor was vry noisy with the people just walking around upstiairs and when using the bathrooms or showers. But good location and very clean, free internet was a bonus and only 10 mins walk into the city.

This is the perfect hostel to start NZ with. Free internet isn't a common thing in NZ, so it works as a perfect base. Communual areas are very small, but that makes people socialise with others. So, I loved that. Good atmosphere, no party hostel. It's clean and the manager is very helpful. Arriving after office hours is no problem. The dorms are spacious and there are lockers inside.
