Very nice hostel with a warm atmosphere. The staff is great and the location is fantasic! We enjoyed our stay on New years eve.

I have only the best things to say about Lavender Circus Hostel - upon arrival the staff welcomed us and gave us an thorough overview what to see, places to eat, where to go out etc., it was really great of them! It's a very cosy atmosphere in the hostel and a very interesting place to stay, nicely decorated. The location is great, within walking distance of all major sights and I'm glad I stayed there.

We were on a 10 day trip across Eastern Europe for Christmas and this by far was the best hostel that we stayed at. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. We arrived at 6:00am off a night train with hardly any sleep and they had a cup of tea waiting for us. How cool! They also gave a really good briefing on what to do in Budapest. The rooms were fantastic. Lots of space and very clean.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. She offered us coffee or tea and told us all about Budapest the moment we walked in the door! A very spacious and relaxed environment. My friend and I had a large room for just the two of us, when it probably could have fit 8 people. There is even music playing in the bathroom. =)

Best "hostel" I've ever stayed in.. great location inmidst the city center, wonderful appartment, really sweet and helpful staff. Even if I wanted to complain: I actually can't find a thing! Next time definitely Lavender again!

All in all a good hostel- well worth the money! Big thanks especially to Kinga - she is very nice and offered us a lot of useful information. One single comment though : they should fix the broken window which gives directly onto the street.

The best hostel I've ever been. You should visit it at least due to its interior - it is unexpected and makes you feel at home. Moreover, it has the best location.

Perfect place just in front of National Museum.Kinga and Zsuzsi are the the best.

We had the double ensuite apartment and it was very big and comfortable. The staff were kind and went out of their way to be helpful. It's great value for money. The only suggestion I have is that in the bathroom there is no rug or shower curtain so the floors get a little flooded. However it's not a big deal considering the overall pleasantness of our stay.

Had an absolutely excellent stay. Zsuzsi was a brilliant host and made us feel more than just guests, but friends. Even invited all guests up for a meal and some excellent local wine and palinka. Thanks Zsuzsi and enjoy the wine! Apartments are funky and functional, with the hostel located within walking distance of everything. Highly recommend this hostel to travelling couples and helped make Budapest the highlight of our trip!

We had a great stay in this hostel, very friendly staff and perfect location! Our room was really big and comfortable. They gave us a lot of good tips for our stay! I would definitely go there again!!

Lavender Circus Hostel was one of the best hostels i ever been,great staff,easy to find!i was in a double private room with shared bathroom.It had a big windows with a nice view,it was big and convenient,good hiting and great decoration!the best of this hostel is the decoration that it was reealy artistic,great atmosfere! staf helpful and very friendly! i recomended at all!

It was absolutely amazing! The staff was so nice and they cooked us a meal to get to know other people staying at the hostel and it was just too fun. Everything about this hostel was just wonderful!
