Lisbon Chillout Hostel Reviews

Had an awesome week at the Chillout Hostel. The atmosphere was great - great staff that are very helpful and are happy to chill out with all the guests. Location is great. A short walk from the main street/main area of town. Close to a grocery store too. We cooked our meals every night in one of their two kitchens. Had an awesome time at this hostel and with their staff, wish we stayed longer!!

I stayed there only one night and had to catch my flight in the early morning. But the night was good and the staff awesome. I would go there twice cause the price was great. However, its not directly in the city center but good to reach from the airport by bus.

Rooms are cold. Only go here in the summer. Property smelled of smoke. Bathrooms are very small. Staff are friendly. Lisbon is a great city though. Computers and playstation

We spent 4 nights in that hostel in February . It was so cold everywhere in that hostel ! even with 1 extra blanket it was still cold ! We stayed in a room without any proper concrete wall so we could hear everything from the hall. The staff was a little bit dodgy. Friendly but dodgy. I would recommend it but only during summer time

Really lovely hostel, Linda was very helpful and smiley! All the staff in fact seemed lovely for the short while I spoke to them, with the exception of Edgar who is an all round poor human being and should be avoided at all costs. All in all, it was a brilliant first leg of my journey and I plan to visit when I go back! :)

The place has a very friendly atmosphere, the staff was great and very helpfull so as the guests. This is a great place to stay in Lisbon and have a good time.

Very good hostel! Money vs quality is excellent! Thanks a lot to a very lovely staff! May be just a penny: heating ar least light would be very appreciated in summer time.

The hostel is in the heart of the city, but away from traffic noise, Friendly atmosphere and great staff !!! :D

This is by the far the best hostel I've ever stayed at. I can hostly say this as j have been all over Europe, and for 8 euros a night this is unbeatable, great location, wifi, breakfast, staff, rooms, kitchen, common area!! I could go on for ever!! The devotion of the staff is unbelievable, one staff member was in crouches, and was still running around, helping out and what not. This hostel is the only hostel I've been too that has a good kitchen to person ratio!!! Kitchen CLEAN and they have 2!

WE LOVED IT HERE, EVERY MOMENT!!!! The hostel was really, really clean. Rebecca (manager) was so kind and really looked after us. Her suggestions for eating, drinking and a quick tour of Lisbon were spot on, NO COMPLAINTS! We would recommend this hostel to all our friends! Congratulations to Rebecca and her partner on their hostel!

It was great as usual. Rebecca, Linda, Matteo, Edgar, Alessio and Jim are very nice and helpful, the rooms are clean and the atmosphere at all is incoomparable. Definitely a nice play to stay,.

Fantastic & very helpful staff, but was cold in January. Probably great in summer.

The living room and bath rooms downstairs went through a thorough renovation. Pois, é mais linda! Breakfast and internet included, not far from the city centre... what more does one need? Staff is nice; special thanks to Rebecca and the guys!

Great place to stay, excellent value, the best hostel Geoff has stayed at. Very helpful, knowledgable and fun staff.

The name Chillout says everything one needs to know. The hostel is simply awesome. Greatest staff ever. :-)

I really enjoyed my stay there. The hostel was not very big, but its clean and well situated. the staff there are very excellent and helpful. Linda, Stefanie, Mattheo, and Edgar. You rock guys.
