This was my very first time staying at a hostel and this honestly exceeded my expecations, sure when you stay in a dorm you share it with others but it relaly has the feel of a hotel. The rooms are SO CLEAN and there is a cleaning service that comes by every morning just like at any other hotel. The locaiton was great, it was right near a big bus/tram/metro station so you could egt anywhere but you also had a central location in mind if you needed to ask for directions. The staff was so helpful!

Although its advertised as a hostel, it really has more of a hotel feel. They definitley cater to large groups, and if your travelling alone, as I was, it is not the place to go if you want to meet people. That being said, the staff were always ready to help, the rooms were immaculate and cleaned often, and the 5,90 euro breakfast buffet was definitely worth it. Overall I found it to be a good solid place to start your trip, hang out, and get your bearings.

Almost perfect on everything. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to sloterdijk station where u can catch tram or subway. Bring your own towel or you need to prepare 5euros for the deposit. And i also recommend the delicious breakfast at 5.90 euros.

Great place to stay. Dorms were like hotel rooms but with a few extra beds. Rooms are modern, separate shower, toilet and basin. Location is right near sloterdjik and it was good to be slightly away from the craziness of central amsterdam.

Its a hotel that has Dorm style rooms not a hostel per-say. there is a bar area with a not super cheap bar. Was full of stag groups. If your looking for a clean comfortable place to stay this is good. The location is not awesome if your coming home late, about 20-30 euro taxi or a night bus that if your taking advantage of the Amsterdam nightlife is prob in the "too hard" basket :) I would definitely stay in Central next time. Staff and Cleanliness is Excellent and the beds super comfy

I had booked a bed in a 4-bed room. When I was checking in I reminded the recepcionist about that, even so she sent me to a 5-bed room. I had to go down to complain in order to get what I had paid for. The same thing happened to me at Meininger Brussels. I booked a 6-bed room and they sent me to a 8-bed room, I only realized the mistake the next day. I warn guests to pay a lot of attention to this matter.

It would have been nice to have more vegan options at breakfast such as the use of soya milk for adding to coffee, tea, and breakfast cereals.

They told us that we could keep our bicycles inside the building. Finally, they had to stand outside the building. That wasn't very good. All in all it is a very very good accommodation.

Its a little bit far from the center, but next to a train station (100m). Everythinelse was perfect. Ow don't forget to bring your own locker. It was the best breakfest that i eat it in all hostels that i went, and cheaper too!

Perfectly clean and beds made, actually there is a lot to like about this hostel except the location. Yes, it only takes about 15mins from your room to the central station but it just doesn't 'feel 'like Amsterdam. Also taxis home after 1pm cost me between 28-35 euro so consider this cost in your budget.

Great! The hostel is new and fancy, the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The only problem is the location, since you need to take a train to go to the center of the city, although it is only one station away, and it only takes you 10 minutes to get there.

I booked an all female dorm and what is my surprise to see that a boy is sleeping on the same bed as a girl. When I ask to change rooms the staff was very unsympathetic and refused. They said they'd refund the money and put me in a different hotel, but by the time they did that it was 12:30 a.m. and no trains were running to the hotel they booked which was all the way up in Schiphol (22 kms away). This hotel has no concerns for your safety and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND for a woman traveller.

My group booked 3 beds in a six person dorm. We were split up, and the staff seemed very unconcerned that we had wish to be together.
