Huge and impersonal, but comfortable. The biggest con is being far from the city center. Therefore, take into consideration that you'll spend extra money on the tram or train (5 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal). They messed up my booking and after I complained, I got a free brekkie and a 25% off on one night. Another bad thing: dorms are usually one or 2 bunk beds and two single beds put together. WIERD. It's NO FUN to sleep so close to a strange. Lockers in my room couldn't be locked.

Me and my friend liked the hostel very much. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The location is really good if you have a bike to go and come as late as you wish. The only thing they should try to improve is the access to WIFI. The internet connection is not stable and in a short session you must login in 100 times, which is annoying. Besides that, everything is very satisfactory.

I booked a superior 4 bed room, I stayed in a room with 6 other people (7 with me), so basically 3 additional people. I didn't want to change though, they were all quite nice.

I stayed in this hotel twice and I really impressed with the accommodation. The room is cozy, clean with private bathroom. Also it located near Sloterdijk Station, make it easier to travel everywhere. On my last stay, my friend brought along her bike as she wanted to bring it to our home country, Indonesia, by plane. The staff was very kind and allowed us to keep it in the storage room before we sent it off to Schipol. This is very nice place to stay.

Less than 5 min walk to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station which is 5 min by rail and 30-45 min by metro to Amsterdam Central. Free wifi in the entire building, this is a professionally managed hostel/hotel. Friendly and helpful desk receptionists, spacious and clean rooms with attached bathroom and toilet, personal bunk light and power socket for charging! Hooks and railings for jackets & clothes, also well-equipped with hairdryer, shower gel and towels. Room-make up include individual beds! Awesome!

Excellent hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, new and modern facilities! Good breakfast (not included in the price) in the form of all you can eat buffee. May be overcrowded in high season. Also not just young people stayed here, we saw a lot of middle-aged couples! The location is nice! 5 min by train to Central Station, 15 min by tram to the City Center, by bike around 40 min. Definitely we'll be staying here again, when we go to Amsterdam next time!

Almost everyone on the staff was rude and over worked, they are extremely unorganized. They over booked my room so that instead of 6 people in a "Superior 6 Bed Mixed Dorm" there were 9 people. They also convert a couch to a bed and call it another bed so they can fit another person in the room, so even if you book a 6 bed room they will convert it to 7 and you might end up on the couch. The location was awful as well, if you are looking for a fun hostel to stay in do not stay here.

I stayed here for two nights and had two completely different nights here. The first night I was placed in a room with 4 crazy Italians. 3 of them had already done shrooms when I first walked in, and the 4th one was the designated babysitter. All of them were smoking weed in the shower. That was an interesting night, but not really the type of company I had been hoping for. They left the next morning and maintenance came through and did a really good job of cleaning the place up.

I like the guest kitchen and friendly staffs. The traffic is good and near a train station, But i hope they can give so much abt the traffic to get thereinformation, such as tram number from central station(, or bus number from Schipol, and it will be more helpful!!!

I really liked staying here. I was worried about the location not being in the heart of Amsterdam, but getting into the city was incredibly easy! I loved how close the hostel was to the train station (Sloterdijk). My friend and I were supposed to stay in a 6 person room but they had overbooked so we each got single rooms which was a cool perk! Worth considering for your Amsterdam stay!
