Good: THe rooms are very nice, comfortable, tidy. Great shower and clean bathrooms. Good for families. Good price. Bad: They did a mess with the bookings, but fixed it after complaining.. THe hotel is directly on the station sloterdijk, you will need to spend some time and money if you plan to be most of the time close to the city center.

When I only give average marks for Location, I should explain. The hotel is located right next to a train station with excellent connections and only 5 minutes from Amsterdam. However it is located in a Business Area, which is pretty quiet after working hours. If you want to eat at a restaurant or buy something, you should do it Amsterdam before you go back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly, even though they had a lot to do. The room was cleaned every day and the room was more than OK.

Great hostel. Totally worth staying here despite the short train into town!

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait for 3 hours before ckecking in. Though after that they gave us a dirty room. After some changes we finally got our room, and despite this umcomfort, the stay at this hostel was fine. Great facilities, near the metro station and it's more like a 3* hotel than a youth hostel ! I'll come back for sure, if I go to amsterdam again :-)

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, by far. Really clean and luxurious rooms, great bathrooms, and very helpful staff. The hostel bar downstairs is also filled with people in the evenings. It's really nice. The only catch is the location: not walking distance from the city center, and if you get one of the bus/tram/metro passes, like I did, it will take 25-35 minutes to get into the city.

A hotel at hostel prices. With meticulous cleanliness and located on a main public transport node you couldn't find a bettet place to crash. Of course if you like the grungy cameraderie of a typical downtown hostel you may find the atmosphere lacking but that's more than made up for by all the other amenities!

This is more of a hotel than a hostel. They've just converted some rooms into dorm rooms. It has no kitchen so you can't cook your own food. The Breakfast here is good tho. Place is clean the staff are friendly. It's a little far out. It's right next to a train station so it's easy to get to but it is still further out than staying at a hostel in town.

very nice, comfortable, and secure room. the location was perfect if you aren't looking for a wild party. it was far enough from the city that the atmosphere was a bit more relaxed, but the hostel is right next to the train station, which means getting into the city is extremely easy. i would definitely stay at this hostel again.

Jut the Dryer was not working otherwise you can wash and dry for free. Just buy or bring your power soup otherwise they will charge you 5.00 euro for that. The place looks like a 4 stars hotel. Really amazing and new! Only the location is a bit far away form the centre if you wanna walk otherwise tthere is a train station at 200 mt form the hostel and in 5 minute your are in Amsterdam Centraal.

The hostel is quite new and clean. The room is very spacious with independent bathroom. You get hotel service for hostel price. It is quite near to the railway station. The best way to the city center is to take the train, about 8 mins for one stop. However, if you intend to party all night in the club outside, it would be a problem unless you would take a taxi back. There is no train after midnight. Instead, there is a bus from the center railway (NO.348) to the hotel. It takes a long time.

It's a good place, a little more food would be nice, you have to take a tram or bus to get anything.
