I stayed there over a weekend which was really cheap compared to most other places, it defiantly had the best beds I've slept on with the most cleanest and modern rooms as well, only thing is that I wish they would have more of a food menu since there isn't to many food places around unless you want to cook your own.
It was very expensive for a hostel but when i went there i booked it last minute so I didn't have much choice but the facilities and staff where great
Pros: Comfy beds, peace and quiet at night, clean bathrooms & a great common area. Cons: Check in was difficult and front desk was under staffed. The lockers in the room are faulty. Location is further out, but very close to the train & trams, so access into centraal is easy.
Great location! Literally outside the doors from the sloterdijk train station. It's also a train ride away to Central station (the canals and tourist areas). The atmosphere is great and the bar and common area is an awesome place to meet people. The place is a bit pricey and we found that splitting a regular hotel room with friends more than 4 may be cheaper. All in all, great place and I my only complaint was the staff. They didn't seem as welcoming, and seemed annoyed when you needed something
A great hostel for the value and very clean. The stuff were very friendly. Iwould stay there again...
Very expensive for a hostel - i was charged €190 for 4 nights
The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the rooms were very clean and it is in a great location that makes getting to and from Amsterdam central extremely easy. I would definitely stay here again
This hostel is located in the middle of a business district, so it's very quiet at night. It's also just a few doors down from a major train and bus station, and Amsterdam Central is just two stations away. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast is amazing (though a little expensive to do everyday.) There is a great little restaurant and bar just across the square that is also highly recommended. We will absolutely stay here again.
Good hostel, more of a hotel though. Nice and clean and close to the train station. Ur in Amsterdam, you won't need to be spending much time here, accept for sleeping :)
Nice modern and clean hostel in the outskirts of amsterdam. Friendly staff, very helpful in many languages (inc. german and spanish). Breakfast was ok, but nothing special - not worth the money. The location is reasonable, if you're fine to take a 20' Bus drive, which is absolutely no problem if you take a day-pass. P&R just in front of the hotel (1€/day). All in all, a nice and modern hostel with an ok location.
Talking about a 8 bed dormitory, it was quite expensive. But the atmosphere was quite good, my roommates were open minded and there always was something to talk about. But maybe I just got lucky. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so was the bartender I met there, she told us some non-touristy things. The locatin okay, it's a 20 minutes bus ride to the centre, but if you come to amsterdam via bus (except eurolines), it's great because you just have to walk 2 minutes to your check in.

Good, clean and quiet. Location is near metro station that takes you to center city. Stayed for one night. If I was looking to partake in the nightlife of Amsterdam I would maybe look closer to the city, but for my travel purpose it was perfect.
Great place, very helpfull staff, extremely clean, great room, kithcen was great. Everything was awesome!!!!
Firstly - its not close to the City Centre. By bus its a good 20 minutes away and thats a major pain at night (good luck locating the night bus - i spoke to several people - all of whom had trouble finding the bus stop for the night bus). For the price that you pay - you can get better alternatives in the city. Secondly - its really a hotel - so don't expect to find the hostel culture - not the best place to meet people. The good stuff - its clean and the breakfast at 7.5 Euros is good.
Reasonably convenient location given the price.

Super clean hostel. More like a hotel in terms of cleanliness. Good facilities and friendly staff. Location is a little outside the city but bus fare is cheap and the bus is only a 20 min ride into the center of Amsterdam. Would likely stay there again.
Comfortable room, just a bit dusty (the shelves). but the bathroom was SUPER clean! I enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.
This hostel was clean, the staff were excellent and the facilities were great. The two things that are not ideal about this hostel is the atmosphere and the location. The atmosphere is not great because it is set up much like a hotel. The common room is quite often full of high school students on school trips. The location isn't terrible, but it is one stop on the train from the central area of Amsterdam, which isn't bad on time, but can affect the pocket book.
Great hostel, more like a hotel! Lovely rooms. There's is also an ensuite in the rooms which is great for a back packers.
The beds were comfortable. There was a small table in the room which was nice. It was like a hotel room just with roommates and smaller beds. Common area was very busy with lots of people. Right next to the Metro which was great. Also the rooms were quiet! Would be nice if bottom bunks had curtains.
