One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Fantastic location - 3 stops from the main station, near the museums and sights. just beside a great pub with good food and diagonally across a restaurant/bar with awesome and value for money food too. Staff were really nice, got a free upgrade to a 4-bed room because the 8-bed was fully booked. Very clean room and super comfortable bed. Only downside is the patchy wifi in the room and for some reason, room was dimly lit too.
very sterile, room too crowded, kitchen ok but no kettle and annoying having to ask to be let i. each morning. but as a place for just a bed or location it is ok. like other reviews more of a hotel
Hostel and Hotel, so atmosphere is not very backpacker friendly. Staff was nice, but not very personal, again because they were busy as a hotel reception. Kitchen was good, well equipped. Internet terminals were expensive (SO frustrating when WiFi is free) Location was easy to find - right next to U line. Security was good. Lockers in rooms were too small for backpack, but ok for valuables (use own lock). Very clean.
Great location near the metro and also starting point for the pub crawl. Amazingly clean and well designed rooms. Would stay again.
Good place, right in front of a metro station entrance/exit, by a large paking place for 15 euros a day, great breakfest for 6 euros. The multi charger for phones on the reception saved my trip as well. It's a family place, so don't expect any hostel party environment/wilderness here.
Great staff and rooms. Location is excellent, 10min by foot from the Bradenburg gate, Tierpark etc. Lockers aren't included in the price. People are nice, kinda of familiar hostel, but a lot of young people downstairs. I would certainly recommend.
Just like a hotel until you enter the dorms. Excellent staff. Subway stop is right in front. Very clean, spacious rooms with lockers. Nice place.
A really big hostel - more of a hotel with bunk beds. Staff were mostly helpful but some didn't seem to care much at all. Not a very personal experience.
Real problem is the kitchen being closed at 10 pm. All the rest was great, specially the location right in one of the main streets.
This is definitely a hotel, not a hostel, that lets you split the cost of your room with a few strangers. Wifi works well in the rooms, but the kitchen and fridge is far away from everything. Berlin requires taking the metro to get everywhere anyway, so the location of the hostel matters less.
It is a very nice hostel-hotel it is like 20 min away from the main attractions and there is a metro next to the hostel.
Fantastic location, rooms are clean, bathrooms are excellent, kitchen is great but the place has the professional and impersonal atmosphere of a hotel which is rubbish if you are traveling by yourself and want to meet people. I stayed in two locations in Berlin and though the second was further out and the facilities weren't as nice it was a far more enjoyable experience. But this hostel would be perfect for people traveling in a group looking for budget accommodation
There were a lot of younger than 17 students in the hotel/hostel that were very noisy, the staff did nothing about it. Other than this it was a fantastic place to stay.
We had a excellent time in this hostel! The room (with 6 beds) was good, with separate shower and toilet what avoid rush to use it. The overall environment is very nice and the location perfect! If you like to walk you can now the most famous places on foot, otherwise there is a entrance to the tube and bus station just in front of the hostel. Although close to transportation, it was really quite and we could sleep very well!
Great staff with a wealth of knowledge! Extremely clean and safe. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the centre of the town and with the underground at the doorstep!
The hotel in general was good. We were a bit disappointed, as we booked 2 beds in a six bed dorm and ended up staying in an 8 bed mixed dorm (or something similar). When asking the staff at the reception about this, the mentioned that we booked two separate beds, so we could either stay in the 8 bed mixed dorm together or go separately to two different six bed dorms, which in my opinion, when you book under the same reservation number, you are supposed to get the beds on the same room.
Nice rooms, good kitchen, not that great an atmosphere. Had a big issue when checking in as they had charged me the wrong rate. Was told at the time there was nothing they could do as my card had been charged before I arrived!?!? Luckily, the staff the next day were able to fix it and gave me the mistaken amount back in cash. Aside from this fine.
Excellent location, close to sights and the subway is right in front. Easily found my way back walking every time I went out. Very clean. Excellent facilities. I did have an issue with my keycard, everyday I would have to go back downstairs to have it reset to get back in my room.
Very modern non-party hostel in good condition and clean. Some staff members very helpful.

Safe and clean. Stayed in 8 bed came with smaller lockers. Shower is separate from toilet that's a good idea. Sheets clean room clean. I like this hotel better than the one right beside the hbf train station. It's a hotel not hostel. Staff friendly. Beside lots of main attractions and resturants cafes. No vibe really.
