Great atmosphere! Beds are simple but the bamboo terrace and hammock makes up for it! Staff is soo friendly :) Loads of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Amazing White Beach and Kawasan waterfalls a tricycle ride away (if you find a driver named Toitoi, GET HIM, best driver ever!). Could not recommend this place enough!

Hi, I would like to tell you that I really enjoyed my stay in Moalboal and hope you will be having a wonderful time in KK. You were correct that the bites and swelling I received was from the sting I received in the sea instead of bed bites. Am sorry to have come up with the wrong assumption. Hope all is well there in Cebu.

My friend and I stayed 5 nights in the double room over the new year’s holiday and we both felt that our experience at the hostel was what made our trip to moalboal worthwhile. All of the ladies on staff were kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Anna-Lou’s children are very well mannered and were adored by all of the guests staying there. We never once heard them in the night. Very disappointing, overall. PROS: *Free Wi-fi *Free use of kitchen *Book exchange CONS: *Children of staff, and staff, taking up the furniture and making noise at all hours. *The HEAT! The dorm is in a loft that's open to the outside. It's not fully closed in but somehow the ventilation does not allow good airflow. *Noise: roosters, the cat from the neighboring restaurant that won't go away, the kids (toddlers) at all hours. *Miserable beds: too-thin, vinyl matresses that sheets slide off of.

The staff are amazing, Mary Ann, Torsten and Ana Lou. They are constantly maintaining the property and it has great character. There is a large kitchen for everyone's use and they often made meals we could all share/buy into. They went out of their way to help me with whatever was needed and were very kind. I'd easily recommend them to anyone and hope to stay again.

Anna was great and grill night was fun with great food. Really nice atmosphere to the place and very central location.

A nice place to stay with honest and super friendly staff. Single/Double rooms are comfortable and partly with seaview. Enjoyed myself a lot ! :)

Good people who try to be helpful. No specific complaints except the dog next door that barks a lot.
