We were expecting a total of five beds but we only got three beds and the hostel owner was not friendly at all. Downstairs, we were catcalled and eyed by creepy men. We would leave and arrive late and find that our windows have been opened and the toilet used. We would hear men violently arguing on the other side of our door. Overall, we didn't feel safe.

We had to pay more than the booking price on hostelworld.

The room itself was ok - big enough for two people, (hot) shower and toilet worked, AC was quite loud and didn't work for half a night, but besides that ok. The worst thing was Chungking Mansion - we wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there (esp. female solo travelers). The mostly male and Middle Eastern people were annoying and obstrusive, everything was very dirty and stinky. Only the location is good. Still, if you want to enjoy your stay (and nights), increase your budget if you can.
