This place was one of the most horrible places I have ever been to in (all together) 2,5 years of travelling. It's incredibly small, no windows, smelly, extremely noisy aircon. There are no windows accessible on the entire floor. The elevator of the building is super slow and people are usually queuing for it. This place has the potential to make you feel claustrophobic even if you've never been before. Not recommendable! Not in a thousand years!

Stayed 5 nights in a privat double room ensuite. On arrival our room was not ready (3pm!?!) and we had to move to another hostel in the next block which cooperates with the New China. Nevertheless the room was like in the description: room size of a queen size bed, 1x1m bathroom, clean, fan+air con, fast wifi, quiet, airport bus stop close by. If you keep ignoring the situation on the ground floor, it's a cheap and very central location for your stay in HK.

A comfortable place to stay. Small, but that's to be expected. Would definitely recommend.

Low-budget clean hostel only to sleep. Air con was noisy

Considering the price and location, this place is ok. The rooms are tiny and not exactly the cleanest, it's by no means awful. If you're in HK on a budget, Chunking Mansions is definitely the place to stay!
