Peter, the manager, was so helpful. I was just asking him where was the nearest drugstore and what he did touched me. Instead of telling me the nearest drugstore, he gave his own stock of medicines for my son's flu and cough. He sure knows how to treat right his customers.

That area, where this hotel is located, full of Indian people trying to sell you drog or other staff and usually they bother you. Sometimes you need to wait 15 minutes (!) to be able to use elevator as plenty of people are waiting. Staff was helpful, they could speak English, room was clean and cleaned daily, equiped with AC and TV. Because of the location, I would recommend to consider choosing other location.

Very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They even provide toothbrushes, soap, free wifi, electrical converter and fridge in the room, and there's a public use computer if needed. Doesn't seem to be a real hostel environment, as the rooms mostly had their own bathrooms and did not have lockers for your belongings, so you might end up paying a little more money but HK is generally more expensive anyway. Our belongings were secure within the room itself. Would stay here again!

This is not the place to go to meet people or party, but as a place to stay in a great location is very good. You need to catch the lift to the 12th floor of the building which is a bit of a hassle as there is usually a queue. Staff are friendly.

Seriously, I don't have a thing to say on that hotel. Nice owner ready to do everything to help you. Nice location: in the center, near an mrt station. Really clean! It is a bit tinny but it's HK so nothing to complain about! The only thing that I did not like is the elevator. Since it is in a 16 stories building, the queue can be a bit long especially during the evening so after a big day when you are ready to unwind, it is bad to wait 20 min to get the elevator *only 2 lifts servicing*

Having stayed in guesthouses in Chungking Mansions before, I was very surprised when I saw the room. Tiled from floor to ceiling, it's perfectly shiny and clean. Good hot water shower, aircon, fan and tv. Clean towel, soap and free hot and cold drinking water. And I had a window on to Nathan Rd. They however also have cheaper single rooms without windows, so make your choice clear. No doubt I will stay here again when I am in Hongkong!

Overall a pleasant stay, the room was tiny as usual in Hongkong, and the aircondition was noisy.

A very clean hostel with very small rooms. The only drawback is my room didint have a window, but then Peter changed my room. Recommended if you are looking for a budged hostel.

for this style of hotel i found it more expensive then others i found but all pretty similar. the think that lets this place right down is the fact its in chunking mansion. you know your in a dodgy place when the you go for a cigarette out side and the guest house owner warns you it can be dangerous out there. final note, its not the area thats bad, in fact its great, its just that building.
