I loved this hostel! Quite place, not too fare away from the centr (10 Min by bus) and just a nice walk away from Mt.Eden. Its clean and my first hostel since ages that has a oven! Thanks a lot guys! =)

Seemed chill, but LOUD. Came for a quiet night, ended up listening to wasted guests in the backyard until far after 1am. Still, the staff was super friendly. Would stay again!

Alex, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful or informative. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone going to the Auckland area. The location is excellent, the staff top notch, and the overall feeling was very nice.

Great place, Mt Eden is a lovely suburb, very easy to get into the city. Great place to meet people here.

This hostel is in the middle of a beautiful town. I arrived in Dec. And flowers are blooming. The room was small, tidy and comfortable. Staff was helpful to get my luggage upstairs.

I think Oaklands Lodge is a fanastic place to stay. Staff are extremely helpful and when I asked for directions they went to the trouble to print out a map for me which was awesome. The hostel is only a few minutes drive from the city or a short bus ride and in my opinion is a great location as you don't have the city noise. Never been to Mt Eden before but I I really enjoyed it and I think YOU should stay there :-) They have something on every night and the place is spotless. Would stay again.
