GOOD: location is good, if you explore the streets around there are some funky boutiques and restaurants, short walk to the centre/duomo, BAD: no atmosphere.
someone, looks like not a hostel guest, was just comming into our dorm room for just taking a shower everyday. I didn't understand. Is it still OK for securities?
Everything was great except the Wifi- possibly the worst connection I've ever had! Every 5 minutes you get bumped off and have to re-enter all the info. It would be better to say you don't have wifi than to build up expectations of communication! Otherwise great....
This was the best hostel out of the seven I stayed at! They had full lockers to store your luggage. It was very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. No breakfast but they have a very well priced vending machine and restaurants in Milan are cheaper than a lot of the other main cities in Italy. The directions on the email were difficult to understand because it said to get off the tram after two stops, but I needed to get off after three stops. But location was good once I found it!
This hostel was just ok. The only thing that seemed good was the security which required a pin code to get into the building after a certain hour and at all times to get into your floor. The beds seemed clean and decent, the room itself was a bit dusty, and it was a pretty decent walk from the city center. It was fine for the price for a night or two.
Kitchen is ok, you have all what you need to cook. Bedrooms and clean and you have lockers for each one (don't forget to bring your own padlock). The location is quiet central and is close to the area of bars. The staff is kind and helpfull.
The reception was very flexible with our arrival. Not far away from the hostel is the area with all the bars in Navigli, we went out there on Saturday and a lot of people where out on the street. Unfortunately my bed was used to often, so that the mattress was bad. The big room with 16 beds is only recommendable for people with a good and fast sleep. For a short time period I would go there again.

A decent hostel - walking distance to central Milan. Full sized lockers were excellent, and light at each bed appreciated. Bed average - could feel springs. Couple of common areas were good. Not a bad option.
plenty of shared space though atmosphere very relaxed clean sheets and clean bathrooms all in all good value for your money all kinds of ppl atayd there while iwas tjere. encluding wiered old ladies...
I stayed at the hostel two times. First time on the 1st floor and second time on 3th floor. Both stays were very good, the staff was helpful, the rooms was cleaned every day, excellent kitchens and it's really close to the duomo (10mins. Walk) the doors to the rooms on the 1st floor cannot be locked, but you need a code to get inside the 1st floor - so it's ok. The atmosphere was not as good as I hoped, people were really quiet. I would stay again :)
Not at all what expected; other people in the bed, noisy near street (no sound proofing), you get screamed out of your bed at 10.45 even though you payed for 2 nights (cleaning lady needs to clean) altough it takes almost 2 hours the cleaning actually starts. They forget to activate the code for the gate, so my given entree code was invalid had to roam with my mobile to wake up someone from hostel. This happened for the next day too. No breakfast is included. For lockers you need to buy lock.
Not very close to the attractions but not too far either, along a major road, so a bit noisy. Great kitchen, fridges dorms, beds, supermarket nearby. Limited number of power points in the dorm though but common room and dining have some.
I found it more like a boot camp than a hostel. Good facilities though.
Great Place to stay, close to Metro and Tram, on thursdays there is a market with fresh local groceries right in Front of the Hostel. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Good directions for getting to the hostel by metro and tram. Overall, room was very clean, nice lockers. Shower door broken, so water sprayed out onto the floor; we mopped it up with a towel. Internet computer worked. Nice place to stay, even though I only stayed one night.

Excellent service, but a small bathroom, for a quite a lot of people. The WiFi was pretty bad during peak hours. But overall the location was nice, there were a few food places and coffee places that offer free Internet.
Unfortunately I arrived late in Milan and did not have the chance to stay at the Olstello Burrigozzo. I was however charged since I didn't cancel 48 hours in advance. I don't think I even made my reservation 48 hours in advance.
Average hostel, good price for the area. Directions via the metro were a little confusing as they don't really tell you which exit to take and how to catch the street car.
Good: nice common space, 10 min walk from metro station, 20 min walk from Duomo Bad: you have to bring your lock if you want to use the locker (can't rent one), also your own towel; Wifi hardly worked on my phone they charge you eur3 extra if you're > 30 y.o., it's an Italian thing
