The service is not good and the manager doesn't help to the clients, the rooms smell horrible and wifi doesn't work well too.

The only good thing about this place was the breafast.

The hostel is close to the beach and has a good variety for breakfast. This was expensive for a dorm room (but it was at peak season), staff didn't offer any advice about the island (but we don't speak Portuguese so may be different if you do) and the rooms/bathrooms were not well cleaned.

The lady at the reception was kind of rude sometimes, for no reason. We didn't appreciate that. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned not a single time in five days. Also, the WCs are not working properly, and the bathrooms smell really badly always, also because the humidity is crazy. There is not air conditioning, and it's FULL of mosquitoes.

The manager is a very very rude. I'm sorry for the people that work with her - the way she treats them is disgusting (even in front of guests). With the guests themselves, she is just a strict not-helpful angry woman. The two toilets that are available don't flush properly and there is always floating fezes waiting for you. The room had no air circulation and smelled pretty bad - walls were full of mold.

there was a noisy air conditioning in another room, so that we almost couldn't sleep. The woman in the reception was very unfriendly.

Everything could have been a bit more lovely. When we arrived we got no information about the hostel itself, when the time for checkout is, when breakfast is, etc. Rooms were okay, but also missed a bit of a warm touch. Community room with reception was unlovely. Recepetion was most of the times unattended and without portuguese we would have had a lot of difficulties. Breakfast was good though and very nice. Bathroom was modern, Room was really big (Double Room Ensuite).

Hostel is ok, room was clean, stuff was nice. We didn't get room which we booked (double room). There was an AC in the room, but it was barely working. Place is located close to beach (like everything on the Ilha Grande :)), but it's surroundings was really dirty (a lot of garbage on the street). During our stay there was no atmosphere in the hostel, only some people coming to the common room to use Wi-Fi (its only there), but anyway we spent most of our time outside, so it was not a problem

We booked a private room. Which was everything you expected. Breakfast was also good.

Very quiet hostel but everything else was perfect.

Lovely hostel, though it was fairly quiet while I was there. Really great breakfast with granola, breads, fruits, etc. Location only a few minutes from the main area and there is a lovely courtyard. Some of the staff didn't speak English but overall a nice hostel.

The hostel was ok - but there are plenty on the island that are cheaper, nicer and in a better location. I was in a 4 bed dorm on my own which was great, however the rooms are dark and quite dirty. The showers are tepid at best. There was no atmosphere as the hostel so it wasn't particularly fun. It is very close to the beach, but at the end of where all the restaurants and bars are. You had to leave your room key at reception, however it was rarely staffed - so anyone could get your room key!

really nice breakfast nice outside patio area really quiet place where to enjoy some day really nice double room!! internet not really working as in the whole Island..

The hostel is well located but it is not very clean, wifi does not work on the rooms, the lady making breakfast is very rude and you cannot ask her anything, you actually feel bothering her during breakfast. The shared kitchen is located on the garden and is quite dirty, we did not feel for cooking there! The girl from the reception tries to do her best but the owner of the hostel clearly don't give Daim about how the place is runned!

I care and i willl check

The hostel was fantastic. We had a private room which was as a good as any hotel. En suite bathroom was emaculate and the bedroom also included a fridge. The room had a private balcony and was very cosy. It was so cheap for the quality as well. I loved the room but the best thing of all was the breakfast. There were freshly baked cakes each morning, some of the best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend it just for the cakes alone.

everything was fine :) breakfast was awesome, wifi was not working though

Nice situated, rooms are a bit small. I like the stuff. The breakfast was awesome!

Nice hostel, good breakfast, just metres from the beach, restaurant and bars, now wi Fi working but you can get it other places on the island. Not the place you want to stay for a party but nice atmosphere

The Hostel was very dirty. The staff couldn't speak a word english. So we got no informations. The breakfast was good.
