10/10- would stay again :)

Super clean, yummy breakfast & comfortable beds. They had extra pillows for you to choose the kind you liked. The showers were really nice and hot, and had shampoo, conditioner and bodywash! The building was new and very well designed, a lot of light. Generally, this place is awesome - we would definitely stay there again. The staff was helpful and not rude in the slightest and spoke english. With the train station and bus station nearby, it was really convenient.

One of the nicest and well maintained hostels I've been to! Everyone who worked there was awesome and helpful. Rooms are a tad small but the beds are very comfortable

The hostel is amazing. Design minimalistic and clean. All the staffs able to speak English, make it easy to ask and chitchat, and they are very friendly too. Will definitely visit this place again when I am back in kyoto

Very impressed by the facilities, and I found that the other guests there were very quiet after lights-out, which is important in a hostel with so many individuals in a dorm. The curtains on the bunk beds were a nice touch for a feeling of isolation!

I was impressed with the hostel, there is not that many competition that can match in value/location. Truly superb. The breakfast buffet is excellent as well.

In terms of facilities, location & value for money, this is the best hostel I've stayed at, period (which says a lot considering hostels in Japan are way nicer than in Europe). Morning: free breakfast with rice, bread,, coffee, miso soup, bikes for rent cheaper than general pricing elsewhere, bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and there's never a problem with not being able to shower. Lovely facility, your own bed is actually like a capsule, so you can be in your own world!

The hostel is very close to Kyoto train station which was convenient for arriving/leaving, however it is quite far (45min walk) from the main restaurant areas and tourist sites so a bit of a toss up. Inside the hostel is very clean and functional but oddly quiet in the communal areas.

This was the best hostel that we stayed at in Japan! Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for making our stay in osaka memorable.

Great place to stay! My wife and I had a small private room with a king bed.

Amazing Ryokan. Loved the authentic Japanese bath, very relaxing. Very accessible to the JR station, and far enough away to leave the train noise behind!

Very nice and trendy hostel. Best beds I had in Japan (18 mix dorm). The whole place is super clean. Showers and bathrooms are also spotless. The common lounge is great place to hangout and meet people. Very close to JR station, but a bit far from Kyoto's attractions, get the 5$/day bus pass and you will be good. Staff is super professional, but felt a bit too corporate and cold to me. Nonetheless, this is an incredibly nice place to stay and will go back if I'm in Kyoto again.

This was the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at, in fact it was more like a hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and everything was spotless. The lounge area was especially nice to have a beer and unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. I plan to come back to Kyoto again and I will definitely be rebooking. Thank you for a great stay!
