Didn't like the fact I had to make my bed up late at night and annoy others who were sleeping. Especially difficult as it was a top bunk. Everything was fine!

absolute helpful staff; they try everything for your effort

Abit noisy at night.

Nice hostel, was clean and had everything I need, including a nice location. Only downsides were the bathrooms and sinks weren't great, not enough space for either.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The staff were really helpful!

Not the first time I've stayed here, but I was less impressed my second time round. The hostel was much busier this time which really stretched the facilities. Two of the four showers being out of order made getting ready a bit of a nightmare in the morning, and one woman had commandeered the entirety of the already small indoor communal space for some kind of project she was working on which meant there was nowhere to relax - thankfully I didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel.

Great location. Rooms were a decent size with light. Washroom and shower facilities were just okay. Staff weren't quite sure how to handle complaints, disputes, squeaky doors or people who needed assistance. Breakfast is toast and spreads.

+ Fantastic location in Chinatown, so close to all of the city by MRT. Staff are nice and friendly and the beds are extremely comfortable. Would recommend. - Not much atmosphere. The door of room 4 is v squeaky and wakes everyone up each time it is opened Curtains or blinds needed in the rooms. On the buildings opposite there are really bright lights that shone straight in through the windows all night, and if you are top bunk it was very annoying as shines straight in your face.

Toilet should be better. The washer isn't work !!

It looks like that the shower is already broken since a long time. Also other facilities did look broken. Unplesant to walk through the breakfast area/living room/reception when I needed to go to the toilet (when others were there). But the breakfast was great!

i love this place, very convinient to travel around, so close to the pogoda and shopping street in Singapore. Right oposite to the Chinatown Mrt Station. will stay again

Hostel was super clean, really cosey and friendly. Breakfast that run until 11 was super handy if you aren't making an early start. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would just say that the staff often suggest for you to get taxis rather than trains if you need to change stations as they say it's easier, but the train system is so easy to use. Just like the underground and cheap as chips so use trains where possible!

The location of Pillows and Toast was good, but the actual facilities weren't great. The only toilets required you to walk outside (and unfortunately it rained a bit during our stay), and for the entire hostel there were only two. There were a total of four small showers, but one was out of service which made the wait for a shower even longer. The sinks are in awkward areas and overall it's cramped and often uncomfortable.

While the morning staff was helpful, the afternoon/evening staff was more interested in watching TV shows loudly than answering your questions. There was mold on the ceiling in the dorm room and the showers. The air conditioning didn't cool down the dorm enough to sleep comfortably. Everything felt worn down, especially the couches in the common area. And payments are nonrefundable.

A good hostel, good atmosphere, and the staff were very helpful, my sincere thanks to the reception girls, SHERNAT who has adequate knowledge about the Singapore city, and helps us to see the city as our taste and desire. other girl is HOOISAN, who was also very helpful. The rooms are very clean and centrally located. very close to China town.

By Singapore standards, I imagine this is a good hostel given the cost of the City. In general, I found the staff and guests to be somewhat unfriendly and reserved, which is the general vibe of Singapore.

Awesome place, great atmosphere for those who are looking to socially connect with other people. Comfortable beds, simple breakfast was a plus, friendly staff, overall a great experience!

Good hostel in a central location. Price is ok for Singapore - if possible try walking in without booking, you might get a better price. Bed was comfy, showers & toilets were clean (except for the hair in the shower...). Don't expect too much from the free breakfast - why not provide some fresh fruits/yoghurt so you could call it a "proper breakfast"?

The beds were fine and the place did the job, but honestly except for that I wasn't impressed at all!
