The atmospher was really awesome! The people made me feel like I belonged there! They treat you like a family. So you gt to know a lot of people all over the world, they offer a lot of activites both local and around the island! I enjoyed my stay more then I expected so I stayed 2 weeks longer!!

It was alright.I've been to better hostels, the staff is friendly though, but the bathrooms were not really clean, plus when you check-in they give you the sheets and you have to make your bed yourself, which I had never seen before, usually when you check in your bed is ready for you, plus the free breakfast is granola bar and a fruit, and all the best fruits are gone In 5 minutes.

the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable. staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated being able to hang around and use the facilities during the day after checking out, as I had a late night flight out.

We had a really good time during our stay in the hostel. The staff was very nice and helpfull! Your within of 5 minutes by the beach. Perfect. The rooms were okay. The onliest negative thing was the breakfast. I would call it coffee and tea.

The internet Wi-Fi should be improved, so people could use it in the upper floors. We had to go to the stairs to get a minimum signal. An upgrade in the furniture would be a great improvement, because the actual is old, and gave us the impression that the hostel was not good (and it is not true) Finally, better not say that a breakfast is provided... instead, tell the guests that you give coffe and cereal bars in the morning. So they can know what to expect.

Polynesia Hostel is in my top 3 hostels that I've stay in while traveling. I have travel all over Europe,Asia,Mexico and Central America. The staff is great always willing to help, Perfect location I mean its right next to the beach,Restaurants and Clubs. You dont really need to pay for transportation to get around waikiki. They always have tours available for the people who are staying in the hostel really cheap and the best way to get to meet a alot of friends. Professor is a grea tour guide.

Helpfull staff and good location. Very simple rooms and the worst is that u need to pass through a dorm if u want to come to your "private" room.

Hostel was cool, pity about the fact that you get kicked out by the staff at ten oclock and there is no other option to drink illegaly on the beach, unless you want to go to s bar and pay top dollar. Tours were great and value for money, would stay here only for the tours.

The one good thing was it's location to Waikiki. No elevator, so I hauled my bags up two flights of stairs. Had the private, but there wasn't any soap in the bathroom or a drying rack/dishcloth for the dishes. Surrounded by huge hotels, behind an iron gate in a small back alley. The common area is right outside the windows, so shouts from the rowdier residents, as well as car doors slamming from the neighboring hotels loading area, were heard all night.

Staff very helpful and really enjoyed the trip to Northern Beaches organised through the hostel -great value and heaps of fun. Rooms clean and tidy and beds comfortable. Shower had stained tiles so looked a bit dirty, however it was certainly clean, hence reduced score for cleanliness. Thank you and will visit again and stay.

Location is awesome! Right around the corner to Waikiki Beach, ABC stores are close, some bars and Subway etc is close as well. Rooms are big, beds could be more comfortable. Our bathroom had molt on the ceiling and would need some renovation. But its a hostel, so I don't expect anything anyway. I didn't try breakfast but my roomie said hard boiled eggs, oats, granolabars, coffee and tea was the usual breakfast. I recommend it as u meet lots of ppl and its super close to the beach!
