The Waikiki Beachside Hostel is located just one block from Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Stay in the heart of Waikiki within walking distance to Diamond Head, famous surf breaks, Kapiʻolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, Royal Hawaiian Center, and countless bars, cafés, and restaurants.
Our friendly team is happy to share local tips and help you book discounted tours so you can experience Oʻahu without overspending. We’re known for our welcoming service and laid-back Hawaiian vibe.
All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Personal lockers (12” x 12” x 18”) are available for your belongings.
Please note: Our building does not have elevators. Guest rooms on the 2nd–4th floors are accessible by stairs only.
Luggage storage is complimentary before check-in. After check-out, luggage storage is available for $5 per person. Due to limited space, overnight or long-term storage is not available.
Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food trucks, cafés, and restaurants located just steps from the property.
Important Information
Minimum guest age: 18.
All guests must present a valid government-issued ID and proof of ongoing travel. A paid and confirmed outbound flight or cruise ticket leaving Honolulu (to another island, mainland U.S., or international destination) is required.
Guests arriving without proof of onward travel will have their reservation cancelled and the first-night deposit forfeited.
Reception is open 24 hours. No curfew.

Check-out: 06:00 – 11:00
Payment upon arrival by credit or debit card.
Taxes not included – 18.7% (City, State & County).
Complimentary breakfast pancakes.
Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation: 48 hours before arrival (by 3:00 PM HST).
Late cancellations or No Shows will be charged the first night of the stay.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival that are cancelled will be charged one night.
For Non-Refundable bookings, the full reservation amount is non-refundable regardless of cancellation date.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing through the original booking platform. Please note this charge is separate from the 15% deposit paid to Hostelworld.
