Waikiki Beach, Oahu - Rated by the Travel Channel as the 'Best Youth Hostel in Waikiki', the Polynesian Beach Club is one of the premiere hostels in Hawaii and caters exclusively to travelers and students. Please note that all guests checking in must show proof of ongoing travel.

It is located in the heart of Waikiki only steps away from the world famous Waikiki Beach and is near to banks, 24 hour shops, restaurants, nightlife, zoo, aquarium and Diamond Head Crater.

Staff was great! Especially Em (emily) our rooms mates were respectful but if you were in a private room, you don’t get air-conditioning so I recommend the one that has their air air-conditioning. Makes a huge difference. Easy, comfortable, nice people staying and working there I dried my bath suit over the railing my top either blew away or something else. The rest of my clothes were there when I got back, so beware, that’s on me for putting it there and hoping for the best. 🥺

The staff person who checked me in was unfriendly and didn't give me much helpful information. I arrived and the room door was cracked open. It was dark and people were asleep. The room was spacious, but the bathroom and shower were the equivalent of a stall. There was no shelves to put your things in there to shower like clean clothes, shampoo, soap etc.. only a hook for your towel. Everything was dirty. I chose this hostel to meet other travelers and instead I was met with homeless.
